The tool seems a bit loose - maybe supposed to be that way. It works with a little care in sizing. I would buy this product again if needed. The cost of the tool is 2-3 times cheaper than the cost of a watch repair shop changing a single battery. Two watch batteries can cost $3. In total you are still spending less than a jeweler who will charge $18 - $25 for replacing a single watch battery. The job for a simple watch is 3 minutes. If you own a watch you almost cannot afford not to make this purchase.

Just be mindful of the size of the watch you are buying it for. It does work on my smaller watches which is great but not for the larger Diesel And Fossil watches I couldn’t get the backs off of. So not the tools fault but my own. Works great for my smaller sized Seiko and Citizen watches

Made purpose It's made for easier.

I gambled on this cheaply-priced and cheaply-made tool and lost. Tolerances are so loose that there's about 1/8" or 3mm of play in each of the pins -- and this is in the tangential direction (around the circle), not the radial direction, so yeah exactly where you don't want any play. Even if by some miracle you do get the pins lined up, just wait until you try to turn it.
