A Squirrel made a nest and had babies on top of this squirrel repellant!
These smell awful. Like a very strong blend of garlic, cayenne, mothballs and vomit. When I opened the packaging, I had to run to put on a face mask and my cats ran back into the house. A squirrel was digging in my beautiful hanging Petunia baskets on my deck. I thought that this foul blend would surely repel the squirrel because it certainly repelled me and my cats. Mama squirrel took no heed to the scent of these putrid vomit balls and went on making her nest. She gave birth and the family is happily living right on top of the squirrel repellant ball! Major squirrel repellant fail.

Actually works
I have several enclosures with different species of birds in each. Squirrels have been chewing the webbing, going inside and eating their food for most of the spring and summer. When they started killing the young birds, that was it. I was going to set kill traps but decided to try this repellent first. It actually works. 3 weeks and counting, no squirrels.

Failed to work
I brought them to put in the window my air conditioner is in. Last year a Squirrel ate through the plastic pull outs on the side of another A/C, and very nearly came into apartment. This year different A/C and i placed 2 bags of this product on sides of A/C and they still started to eat through the form.Very disappointed.

squirrels are devils and had little fear of these
First, these are tiny and by weight for the money, gold is cheaper. Once rained on they began to disappear...melt....And right next to one, I spotted a red squirrel burying a walnut. So. They arrived in a tiny box maybe 2" x 4". Try mothballs. Cheaper. No less effective.

It works!
We hung this squirrel repellent at different spots on our pomegranate tree to ward off squirrels that were getting at the fruit, even before it was ripe. We've used it for about a month now to ensure it was working well, and so far, no squirrels in sight. We're very pleased the fruit now has a chance to grow undamaged.

Squirrels are unaffected by this product...
Updating this review. Put multiple pods in vacinity and the squirrels definitely took notice. One squirrel turn and ran. The other jumped over them.

Don’t last long
These really do repel the squirrels from eating my flowers in my flower pots. However they do not withstand the rain and elements outside and need to be replaced very often. They only last about one week.

Bottom line, they don't work
When we hung out a new bird feeder, we were inundated with squirrels eating the seed. So when I came across this product, I was optimistic about the prospect of feeding the birds while keeping the squirrels away. We hung the product immediately over the bird feeder within inches of the seed. Within a day, our feeder saw squirrel after squirrel on the feeder. I'll be throwing the remaining product away.
