Can't be beat for features/price
This is probably the lowest price and best monitor you can get with 1440p, gysnc, and such a high native refresh rate (144hz, with possible OC to 165). Sometimes the viewing angle can be slightly annoying but not something you see 98% of the time . It has a matte finish which is great if you play in rooms with lots of glare. There really aren't any other monitors that come close to this one for features/price. Only ranked durability a 4 because 1) I dont have it too long yet and 2) there are these tiny little wire guides on the monitor stands (check the pictures) and I had one easily crack and break off while unboxing so just be careful. You can't even tell that it broke when it's all setup so it's not a deal breaker, but just mind it while you remove it from the package. I use this with a msi 2080 and typically stay around 120-144fps while playing bf5 all ultra. Also, the omen branding is not overbearing like some other brands and it's extremely solidly built. You won't look like a Razer boy gamer with this on your desk. You can also disable the ambient lighting, but I've grown fond of the option that lights up to mimic colors on the screen.

Amazing monitor
I absolutely love my monitor and have been using it(and I am currently) for the past 3 months. I might have gotten lucky but there are no dead pixels and absolutely no backlight bleed. it is an exceptionally quick 2k quality monitor, although the color is not as vibrant just because of it being a TN panel rather than an IPS panel. for the reason off the color being off I took one star off however it can be adjusted and made to look better so overall it was well worth the money spent.

UPDATE: Ambient returns! ORIGINAL: Great monitor, ambient light broke immediately though.
UPDATE: I'm not sure why but the ambient light started working again which reminded me of how limited it is. While it does change color it is from what seems to be a limited color selection. After getting a monitor calibration tool the color is better too. That being said its blacks are right in line with an average TN panel but even my 8 year old Hanns-G monitor has slightly better blacks. Still enjoying the monitor though.ORIGINAL: I really like the monitor, love the 2k, the g-sync when above 30 fps is awesome, and when it worked, the ambient light on the bottom was really neat. The ambient light worked at first, but then after about a month it stuck on red, then never turned on again. :( It's not a deal breaker but I really did like it. G-sync is incredible when above 30 fps and when below is an absolutely atrocious slide show.I run a Ryzen [email protected], 32GB 3000MhzCL14 RAM, GTX 1070 Ti, and use an SSD for most of my games.

Strange Contrast Issue, But Fixed It
I used a pure black background as a contrast test, but the black turned red. Once setting contrast to 70 in the nividia panel, the red vanished. EDIT - After toying around a bit somehow it fixed itself without the need on contrast.Buttons in the back are really soft so very hard to get used to that at first.Colors are kinda meh, not really as crisp as my other monitor, but it seems all monitors at this refresh rate and size have the same problem. But still good.No back light bleed as far as I can tell.Easy to put together, and boxed very nicely. No dead pixels.Bought the ASUS PG279QR before this, costs more, but has backlight bleed.Overall this monitor is not only cheaper, but looks better. Only con is the buttons in the back being easy to miss.

Great monitor
I bought it when it was close to $500, it's a better bargain now. I'm still glad I bought it. If you're into max performance this monitor fits the bill. 1ms and 165hz is noticeable compared to the average cheap monitor. It looks awesome too. It's near edge to edge, maybe 1/8th on an inch bezel. Everything looks better on this monitor, this 2k monitor looks better then things on my 4k TV.

2 MONITORS CAME DEFECTIVE BEWARE!!!
Not sure if this has to do with the seller, or if this is an issue with the monitor itself. First monitor came with a dead pixel, thought to myself "no big deal this happens" so I ordered a return label (THANK YOU AMAZON RETURN POLICY!) and purchased another monitor as I HAD to use this one for work. The second monitor arrived and it was even worse then the first one. I called Amazon support and Amazon support called the seller and I kid you not, according to the seller they all have dead pixels... This monitor has GREAT color and performance so I am very sad to hear all these units are essentially defective. I would would avoid this seller like the plague and possibly search for a another monitor.DO NOT TAKE THE RISK WITH THIS SELLER!

"27'" Great features for the Price( on sale) / Terrible Black colors
27' 1440p G-sync all great features in a gaming monitor especially at the $430 sale I paid.Pros:Great resolution 2k resolutionG-sync At a cheaper sale price pointVery high refresh rateCons: Terrible black/grey washed out colors , color banding, the worst I've ever seen, I downloaded ICC color profiles , adjusted color settings in monitor and Nvidia control panel to no avail leading me to return the monitor. It's very possible I just received a monitor with these dark color issues but buyer beware they were vary apparent in my purchase. (Pictures above show base out of the box issues the colors on my desktop.)

Great monitor once you set it up and mess round ...
Great monitor once you set it up and mess round with the display settings. At first i wasnt sure how to get it to 165hz, i quickly learned my hdmi doesn't support up to 144hz. To achieve 165hz u have to use the display port that comes with the monitor and then change the monitor display rate to 144hz in display settings and enable g sync in nvidia control panel. now on your monitor look for the overclock option, enable it and now you can change your monitor display to 165hz in display settings>advanced display settings>display adapter propertiesComes with a vesa mount and a normal stand. easy to change out and use
