As a busy home cook, I need something that's reliable, easy to use, and powerful. This 2-burner cooktop delivers on all fronts. I love the LED touch control. It is sleek. The 9 power levels give me total control over my cooking, and the kids lock feature gives me peace of mind when my little ones are around. The timer is also super handy for avoiding overcooked meals. Plus, the overheat protection feature ensures my safety while cooking. The built-in design looks amazing in my kitchen, and the countertop option is great for flexibility.

I purchased this infrared Double burner because it claimed 2200 watts in for two burners. 2200W / 120v = 18.3 amps, so each burner is around 1100W, most kitchens have 20 amp circuits, the unit is a nice size, you can actually get two pans on both burners at the same time, I used two 12 inch sauté skillet, no issue there, either burner can bring to a rolling boil 3 qts of water in 10 minutes. I have cooked 2 lbs of ground turkey using it and it that took approximately 20 mins to cook. It keeps the heat coming until you're done with the cooking. You can control the heat with different levels of heat settings on both burners, so if it's too hot, you can lower it down for your needs, I would purchase again and would recommend it to others. Prior to this purchase I had a "no name" brand 1000W single infrared burner and it took about 40 minutes to cook the same 2 lbs of ground beef or Turkey, it just struggled to keep the heat up high enough to get the meat cooked. This VBGK is fast and very much like a regular infrared cooktop that you would purchase to install in your home kitchen, except it can move around easily at roughly 16 lbs. VBGK did it right, however, I would say they could make it a total of 2400W and it would even be better. 20 amps isn't too much to expect out of a 20-amp circuit and most likely you wouldn't use both burners on high at the same time. I use this dual along with a single burner I purchased on Amazon to cook meals once or twice per week. The dual 1800W units probably just don't have enough power to really cook 2 lbs of anything fast, bigger is better.

It’s not the most powerful thing but it’ll get the job done. I’ve been using it for a month now during our kitchen renovation and I like it overall. The only thing I don’t like is that I have to unplug it every time I’m done cooking because it is really sensitive and as soon as you put something on top of it it’ll turn on. Even if you’re just wiping it off while plugged in it’ll turn on. Other than that and the fact that it takes a bit longer to boil water than with the gas stove. No other complaints though, a solid four stars.

Muy funcional

I bought this as a temporary cooktop while our kitchen was being remodeled. It worked out great! I loved the 24" size. I could easily use two pots/pans at once. I found that the cook times and heat were very good. No problems making fried/scrambled eggs,grilled cheese, sauteing veggies, browning chicken, etc. I did not have any trouble boiling a pot of water for pasta. I did put a lid on the pot to get it to boil faster. The glass top made it super easy to clean. I am thinking that this will also be useful at holidays/gathering in the future. I would highly recommend this product.
