Excellent gift! Tons of meat for the money, and it's got a good ratio of leanto fat, which we prefer over Zabar's. To be sure, it's an indulgence and a splurge,but if you know someone who loves the taste of a genuine NY Deli but doesn'tlive there anymore, this is actually worth the money and will be appreciated.

So excited to get this package until... Opened it up and pickle juice on everything. The lid was loose. Looked at the meat and there was so much fat on the corned beef AND the pastrami. Not enough meat, after cutting off the fat to make a sandwich. My dogs loved it. Super disappointed.

It was great ! We will do it again….

That well known Carnegie Deli was selling products on the Amazon site was a thrill as that type of food is not sold in Tacoma, WA where I live. The package arrived and when I opened it, the pastrami was fine, but the corned beef had so much fat on it, it was really terrible. I kept it, but I will never buy it again. When you pay a premium price for something, you expect to get premium product. Carnegie Deli must get rid of their fatty corned beef through internet sales. Buyer beware.
