Update: Returning. The Vidcam function is 'iffy' at best. Most computers don't recognize the 2K mode. In 1080 or 720 there is a definite loss of resolution due to software down converting. Also, had trouble (lots) of it staying connected during Vidcams -- believe the USB port is not very robust in its connection.Tried several modes to the white balance better - no go, always oversaturated which is not good on people not as noticeable on flora.Know what you purpose is for these cameras -- all of them in this category -- $60 to $300. This camera in particular - Seree Tech (but all are sourced from just a few manufacturers).Video Quality is good, but not as good as most phone cameras. Video is over saturated - no adjustment, colors are are too high, causing loss of detail and skin tones way to too red or dark - depending on complexion.Zoom is in steps and looses quality, so no taking full advantage of the sensor -- or just poor firmware.No image stabilization, thus need to use a tripod.Does do YouTube live stream -- the purpose it was purchased -- but quality is quite less than phone. Menus are not accessible in YT/Stream mode - but zoom still works. Remote barely works even it pointed toward the front.The over saturation with no adjustment makes the picture very untrue for YT use.The manual is very terse and unclear, what does 'close' mean?Suggest that any of these cameras be tested for your purpose and if not satisfactory returned -- that is the way to get quality - insist on quality and true description of features.

The Camcorder has a Fixed focus because manual focus is not supported with this video camera. This video camera can be used for many different reasons like events or parties and is easy to use. It makes a perfect gift for any person for any reason especially when they do photography or videos. It is good to have to record any party or any event. The video recorder can be used also as a webcam so loved ones can see you online. It has a remote control which makes it easy to use for a big party.

Bought this for my husband based on good reviews, he said it was useless. The battery doesn't last long, even though it was fully charged. He prefers to use his cell phone instead of this camera. So disappointed and a waste of money.

I'm on my second one of these cameras (after returning the first for this same problem). Every video I take with these the sound and video don't match up. It's essentially useless for family videos because mouth motions and speech are so badly off from one another.Seems to be a good enough camera otherwise, so if your purpose is not close-up video of people it may suit your needs, but for anything that requires synchronized sound look elsewhere.

I returned the camcorder

The camera USB function fails to interface reliably with my Mac. This feature is essential to my intended use. Worked once out of the box and then not again. Tried many troubleshooting variations: swapping SIM cards, cables, etc. Re-set and re-started everything in various combinations. Without any option for technical support, I am now boxing up to return.

Hoped to be able to use this as a camera for OBS. Particularly to record drumming sessions in the home studio. Even at higher FPS and lower resolution, the picture produced is behind in time of the action. Can't have that with this application. Item being returned.Also, the controls (menus, buttons, etc) are not good. As it also doesn't seem to remember the configuration at power cycle. Picture quality was decent, but none of the video modes was able to show the picture without some kind of hue (yellowish, blueish, etc).Can't recommend.

I could charge the battery ALL NIGHT, and the battery will still say “low battery” I’m already passed the date that I could return. So now I’m stuck with this useless camera.
