A Total Piece of Junk
This tool is about 10" long and made from flimsy aluminum. I literally could have made a better tool with a disposable pie plate and a pair of tin snips. Since it also arrived pre-bent and dented, I strongly doubt it's going to do what it was supposedly designed for, which was prevent paint leaking under when I'm trying to create a clean line. I'm not only outraged by how bad this tool is, I'm outraged that the merchant dared to charge $5.00 for such a worthless item. I want my money back!

Absolute Garbage
This paint shield is trash, absolute garbage. It is made from a thin sheet of aluminum. You can very easily bend it with two fingers. It was shipped in a small plastic envelope and arrived all bent out of shape, totally useless.

Crumpled up like Tim foil during shipment. Trash.
Cheap, flimsy, ineffective due to lack of straight edge. The wind could fold this cheap product.

flimsy but useful
I understand why this item gets bad reviews. It's just as flimsy as the other reviewers have pointed out, and doesn't seem to be worth more than a dollar or two. However, I'm buying my second one because I still find it very useful. The paint shield is thin and flexible enough to slip between the baseboard and carpet. If I'm careful, I can paint that difficult bottom edge without making a mess. I prefer this little one to bulkier options, I just wish the price were lower on Amazon, or that they were sold in inexpensive multi-packs.

Thin one use junk !!!!!
Like I said !!!! Junk , should have been offered for free, and even then I would not take this silly piece of metal! This is a throw away item, I would not consider it a tool, Made of aluminum , if able to use it , it will probably last a few hours of painting!!!!

Cardboard
Don’t bother with this. It’s just thin cardboard painted silver. It bent as I was removing it from packaging which made it useless for doing painting edging. Extremely cheap and not worth the money or the headache to return it.
