had to drill some holes and cutot the area for the switch to fit in and wired up easy so I can use it to start my tractor and still use my igntion switch to shut it off works great

Drop in replacement.
The overall length was much longer than the OEM but bolted right in. 1968 IH Cub doesn't give much room to work and took a bit of time. Har to replace a couple of the wires along the way, due to age, but got it working again.

Dead switch in about 4 months time. 😕. Second one failed first time around, big time.
Bought this for a Farmall H in September 2023 and it’s already shot in January of 2024.This switch was hardly used. I opened it up to see just what the issue was, and it was very obvious that the switch is cheaply manufactured.To use a light plastic material and flimsy metal, it’s no wonder why it failed.A few times of arching or a little heat and this switch will fail. Well duh I put the same switch back in again and this time it stuck in the on position.Could not turn tractor off and it proceeded to burn up the new starter unit. I give up on this switch for sure. DO NOT BUY AT ALL COST! It has cost me a lot of time and money……
