I just received the skirt and love it. I tried the Ripskirt and was not impressed and immediately returned. I normally wear Columbia’s Anytime skort and while I love those too, they can be quite hot. This might be the best as it is light and airy and I can wear a short underneath and still be cool and comfortable. The skirt has a slight A line and drapes well. I’ve added pics as I find them helpful and hope you do too. For reference, I’m 5’5”, 141 lbs, and rounded in the middle. I got the med/large and it fits perfect. I also like the back pocket, it could easily hold a card case.

First thing to note - I tried RipSkirt. I wanted to like it. But I just didn't. Months later I found this HDE cover-up. I got the 4-14 size. It checks ALL the boxes - some I didn't even know I wanted. SNAPS instead of hook/loop. And these snaps seem like they're going to do a great job. There are enough snaps that I can adjust for tucking a shirt in, having a big meal, wearing it lower - below my natural waist to get it to knee length instead of above knee. REVERSIBLE! What? - and it still feels light. The seams are sewn well, the finishes are nice. INVISIBLE zippered POCKET along the back of the waistline. I heart the pocket. Note - its a difficult to reach location so I likely won't use it for my phone, but for a room key, and maybe a credit card (who uses money these days?). Car keys pressed into my lower back would be uncomfortable, as would a phone. I'll make it work, and I'm glad to have it. I intend to wear this on the boat. Easy on/off for jumping into the water. I got the floral/royal blue. If it wears as nice as I think it will, there just might be another one in my future. Follow-up: Worn and washed. And I’m still giving it 5 stars. HOWEVER the pocket needs to be in a better place. Or add another pocket for options.

Loved the blue print but the black will be the one I wear the most. Great for sightseeing or at the beach. Less luggage! I love the pocket with a zipper hidden in the waist band. It holds my Xr iphone perfectly with room for a lipstick or tissues and credit cards. The length is almost the size of 2 credit cards end to end. I chose this skirt over the rip skirt because of the reviews here and that I hate velcro because it always snags including a swim suit.and this one was significantly cheaper. The snaps are snug and in 2 rows but the 2nd time I tried it it was easy. It won't fall off or rip off. The washing instructions are in the pocket Machine gentle and can be dried on low. Does not look like it would wrinkle either. I am in my 60's so I wouldn't mind finding one that is 2 inches longer but for summer this will be fine. Hope they get some different colors I want to order more!Can't ride a bike with this on unless you have a swim suit bottom underneath.! I am 5'5''. It is about 2 1/2 in. above my knee. I bought the 0-14 but since I am a 12 maybe I should try the 12-18. It may be longer.
