Used down the stairs and hallway - when builders in. Very sticky but it did protect the carpet - particularly as the cloths the builder was going to put down were full of grit and plaster!! Very pleased I used this.

Difficult to lay exactly where you want it as it sticks to itself. Would definitely be better if 2 people were to help put it down. Mine looked a bit like a patchwork but it does the job and is quite strong. I'm having a kitchen replaced and walls knocked down so this was put in the hallway and did do a good job protecting the carpet.

We bought this to protect our new stair carpet whilst the decorators were in doing the bedroom. We found it a bit tricky to put down as it sticks to itself very easily and is then quite difficult to separate so it needed two of us to put it down. However, it does its job very well so the carpet was completely unaffected by the traffic. Overall, very happy with it.

Bought to protect my wooden floor whilst decorating.Very poor product. It does not stick to the floor I am having to use masking tape at the edges & joins so I can at least make use of it.

Easy to apply to the carpet. Sticks well. Did the job well (protecting the carpet whilst having plastering work carried out).

I got this for carpet protection from plastering and painting. Think of it like a massive roll of sellotape which is easy to put down but has a tendency to stick to itself if you’re not careful. Perhaps I was silly doing this, but to ensure nothing went down the sides of the skirting, I put this about a cm on the skirting board to cover the gap. When it came to removing it, it took chunks of paint off the skirting. They had only recently been painted a week before so this might also be why. And they had been down a few days as we were doing a lot of work over the week. I was concerned it would leave marks on the carpet but even after a few days they left the carpet spotless.My advice - only use on carpet, do not let this touch any painted surfaces and do not leave for more than 24 hrs.

We used this on our stairs which had new carpet while I replaced the bathroom. Did a great job to be fair to it as it was down about two months and didn't walk or wander. Most difficult part was rolling it out and sticking it down. Best bet is use two people one to hold onto the roll and the other to stick it down.
