Works great, but leaves scuff marks
I bought mine a short while ago, and while I'm very pleased with its sturdiness (the primary reason why I purchased it), I was disappointed that it was leaving scuff/scratch marks on my tumbler. I had to get some 3/8" heat shrink tubing (a perfect fit!) and apply it to the arms.

Poorly finished, dangerous
I ordered the HeroDesk Cup Holder Clip to replace a very similar product that I had received as a gift a few years ago, but lost that one in my move over the summer from NY to Boston. So having used the other one frequently when flying, I needed to order another clip-on cup holder for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. I saw the HeroDesk item was much cheaper than the other one (Vector) on Amazon that I had used for years, but lost. They seemed to be the same, so of course I got the less expensive one. Big Mistake. It seemed to have a sturdy spring, like the other one, but when I squeezed the spring handle I got a cut on my finger. When I looked at the piece that you hold onto while squeezing the spring lever, I saw that it had burs on the metal. It was not finished well, leaving a jagged edge that caused the cut. Upon further inspection, I found similar burs on other jagged edges of that piece too. I guess you get what you pay for. It was my guitar barring finger that got cut, and it is pretty painful now to prepare for upcoming events.

Stops drink cups from getting knocked over.
Excellent holder. We have a cat that loves to knock our Yeti drink cups over. We tried everything except giving up the cat. These holders did the job for us. My wife is handicapped and has a bed side table she sat her cup on. He would knock it over several times a day. The cat has a passion for straws. . By clipping this to her table and my end table by my chair he has not been able to knock anything else over. The only drawback I have is that the spring holding the upper arms in place needs to be stronger.

Good idea, but not well executed
I keep trying to find a solution to drinks on a plane spilling. This is close but no cigar. I want something that will clamp on a tray table and prevent drink spilling and will not interfere with the operation of other trays and not take up all the space

An experiment that has worked out very well.
Purchased as an experiment to test with my wife's large stainless steel tumbler that tumbled out of the regular cup holders in our motorhome. During a 2300 mile trip, it worked without incident, holding the cup and holding onto the center console edge without issue. It is a winner, and would buy again. Well, actually, I bought a second one for my cup/mug after the trip mentioned above.

Very sturdy for my big heavy Yeti
This clip is very sturdy and works perfectly. I've been searching for a cup holder for months but could find anything with a diameter and proper depth to fit my 32oz Yeti or any large to go cups. The clip can rotate 180 degrees to clamp onto a vertical or horizontal edge. It is a metal design with good powder coating. It holds my heavy drinks with ease and I've never felt the clamp wouldn't hold. It doesn't budge! Great product! I want to buy kore, but sadly they are out of stock.

Holds many sizes of cups and securely holds filled 32oz cup
Love love love! I needed this to hold a cup in my RV. It fits many sizes of cups and appears safe and secure when holding a 32oz filled cup. Highly recommend this!
