Like the dress pant of hiking pants
I ordered the mier in green in a 6.I’m 5’8”, ~120 lbs, usually a size 4 (My measurements from 2 years ago: Bra: 32A/B - 34 A/B, Waist: 65cm, Hips 92cm).I’m usually a 4, sometimes a 2 in pants. In these, the 6 fits me perfectly. So, I’d say order a size up.These are high waisted, not hip pants/low rise. Generally, I buy low rise pants, and hip or high waisted leggings. High waisted pants are hit or miss for me, but these are a hit. They are comfy, and they are flattering. The color is nice. It’s like an army green. These are straight legged, like the dress pant of hiking pants. If they didn’t make noise as you walked, and you didn’t take a close up look to see the fabric and the zipper pockets, you might not know they weren’t dress pants.I tried on SOO many pants, and these are definitely one of my favorites, if not my #1.The material is very lightweight and I’m sure would be quick to dry as advertised. The pockets are all zipped. The hip pockets are the largest. I can fit my iPhone 13 Pro Max in them and zipper them shut. I can fit my phone in the thigh pockets, but the top sticks out a little, such that I cannot zipper them shut. And the butt pockets are the same as the thigh; my phone sticks out just a tad so I can’t zip shut.Materials / fabric:88% nylon, 12% spandex

ALMOST PERFECT!!!
I normally wear a size 8, but I ordered a 10 as suggested in the item description. Unfortunately, they were too big in the hips, so I returned them and got a size 8 which is a perfect fit. For reference I am 5'5", 140# and due to old age and a few extra pounds, have a tummy and thick waist... ugh, however, the elastic on the sides makes the pants very comfortable without adding more bulk. I also like the fact that there is not an advertisement stamped in an obvious place, rather it is on the side just below the waist band. I really like all of the zippered pockets which are a great size, since I often do not carry a purse. I may do as another reviewer suggested and take off the elastic pulls to make the pants look dressier and less casual. The pants washed and dried beautifully. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was the fact that the fabric make a swishing noise... for this I did not give 5 stars. I am in hopes the noise will become less noticeable with subsequent washing and wearing. Other than that, they are hands down a better fit than the very expensive premium brand I have bought for years.

Lots of nice features, could not get a good fit
I really wanted to like these pants. I ordered the 6 initially and the waist and rise was just too big, but the seat and the legs fit great. Loose, but not too loose. Since the waist was so large I ordered the 4 and unfortunately the 4 was too small all around. The waist was good, but the seat and thighs were too tight rendering the pockets useless. If you can get them to fit I think they would be a really nice pair of pants. The material is swishy sounding, but over all I don't think it would be to annoying. Nice pockets. I was able to get my iPhone 14 in side and back pockets.I have a 29 inseam and the 4s were a bit too long. The 6s were too long, but I could have put up with it if they had fit better in the waist.

IF YOU ARE TALL, YOU WILL LOVE THESE
These have a 31" inseam perfect for those with long legs. I am 67 years old, weigh 156, waist 34", hips 42 and ordered size 12. It's really hard to find pants to fit my hips that are not big in the waist. These fit very well because of the elastic in the waist. If I gain or lose weight the elastic and belt loops will accommodate. They also have a loose fit that I prefer. Construction is high quality, worth the extra $20 over other pants. All the pockets are zippered, great for travelling and deterring pick-pockets. Front side pockets are very deep, big plus. The material is light weight, good for 100 degrees in Texas, mosquito proof and easy to pack. Very comfortable. What more could you ask for. The Khaki color looks good with fall colors, sage greens, deep greens, rusty oranges, black, white and navy blue. What more could you ask for? YOU WILL LOVE THESE PANTS!

Pants Review
This past year I lost 35 lbs and I have donated 10 big bags of old clothes and trying to figure out what size to buy now. The pants are too big, and I will return them to Amazon. Thanks, Amazon because everything has been 👍 that I have purchased.I still figuring out.

Fantastic material and pockets
Update. Received next size down today and they are perfect! I was worried they wikdnr arrive in time as shipping was delayed. Going to be perfect for wet weather!I love the material and many pockets! These should hold up for rough terrain and rain. I do have to exchange for a smaller size, if I put anything in the pockets they slide right down lol. It’s always hit or miss with sizing charts.

Lightweight and great for travel
I ordered several different hiking pants to use during an extended trip to Europe. Just got home and can report that these pants performed well. Lightweight, so they're easy to wear and pack (important since we were backpacking). The fabric dries quickly and looks good.

Fabric seems very sturdy
I was looking for a more reasonably priced alternative to Eddie Bauer guide pro pants. I wear an 8 in most pants, including Duluth firehose pants for women. These are definitely smaller. I could get them on, and they didn’t look terrible- But when I unzipped the main pockets to stick my hands in, they just bulged out the inner fabric of the pockets, which looked very tacky and like the pants are too tight ( then they did look terrible)I’ve gained a few pounds this last week or 2, so I’ll try them again after taking it back off before deciding whether to keep or return. I do really like the fabric and I think I’d like it better than the guide pro fabric. The question is, will the next size up be too big or just right? They feel like they’re a half size small.
