Amiibo Link Ocarina of Time (The Legend of Zelda Series) [Japan Import]

The detail work on this Amiibo is really stunning and actually needs to be taken note of. I wasn't expecting the paint work to be this detailed and so well done. This is truly a high end collectible item, which shocked me because I was expecting this to be a cash grab item that in order to unlock features in different games you need this and since I'm such a die hard Zelda fan how could I not right? But this seems to have had special care and attention to detail in both its design and production. I'm just blown away! Even his tiny little buckles on his boots are so well crafted and varied in color to the rest of the boot. Seriously you need to see it in person to truly appreciate the craftsmanship, and really they didn't need to do this, everyone would have bought one if it looked like a McDonald's toy. To me this was a true thank you from Nintendo to the fans, they know how much we care and they wanted to give us something extra to not only use in our games but also put on our shelves and quite frankly this is the 1st item I'm very proud to display. Also it works perfectly with US readers.

I had no idea what this was but my son did and he conned me into getting this, but he still uses it on a a lot of different games.

Arrived 4 days earlier than predicted! (It was out of stock) The detail in the paint is nicely done. Very nice look Amiibo. Works perfectly with the American Switch even though it is a Japanese import. The box is written in Japanese. If I had wanted to leave it in the box as a collectible I would have to take off two stars. One for the damage to the top of the box, it was very bent. And a second star for the stickers placed on the box. However it meets my sons needs and expectations for playing on his Nintendo Switch. If you are collecting only, be aware. We are very happy with the purchase.

Beautifully detailed with Link and his ocarina.

This is my first amiibo figure and I'm beyond pleased with the quality and attention to detail. I think it's such a special pose with Link playing the ocarina, and the 3D sculpture does a great job of capturing what the N64 adult Link looks like. I'm not really interested in the amiibo functionality, rather I wanted it as a decorative piece and I was worried I would find it too small and the quality would be lacking. Compared to BotW and TotK Link amiibo I've seen, the size feels nice and I'm really pleased with the metallic details on the sword and buckles, and the triforce designs on the base. I ordered the Japanese import version, and that's the version I got, and the box is also in perfect condition. As another person pointed out, the back of Link's shield is painted silver- I'm not sure if that's game accurate, but it's something to note. I'm pretty particular with how I want my memorabilia to look, so I don't often splurge, and I think this might be my new favourite piece in my small collection!
