FROGG TOGGS Men's Hellbender Fishing Wading Boot Felt Or Cleated

Rock solid
Excellent much better then the cleats I have. Comfortable no SLIPPAGE, fish a lot in rivers. Compared to the cleats these are so much better. Didn't slip once.they don't gather silt and mud as well as on the inside. The sole looks solid will see how it holds up. They are very comfortable went with my shoe size and the fit is fine. Could've went up in size but there fine. Price is fair so if they last 2 season or more money well spent. If I remember...if.. I'll update my review late fall. Very pleased and again there better than the cleats. I was confident in the water with each step an not slipping. I would recommend them.

I wear 10.5 US and bought this size 11. Fits perfect over the stocking foot waders
did not know how much larger I needed to go to fit over that big neoprene stocking foot so I trusted the reviewers that said you can order your size or for me the next whole size larger. From 10.5 US I went with the size 11 and it fits great. No pinched feet and yet not too loose either. Looks good too matching the colors of the new waders. I got the cleated soles since I did not think I would need the felt soles. Can't answer how they will last, but they do look well made.

Solid budget choice with caveats
These boots are a solid value for the price, with a couple of caveats to consider. Do not order a size up as some have suggested; if you wear a size 12 then order a size 12. If you wear a half size, then I suggest going down in size, not up. The boots are a bit roomy compared with the Cabela boots that they replaced. Lace them tightly and it should be fine. The top of the tongue seems a bit narrower than it should be to lie flat, exacerbated by the stiffness of the rubbery logo. The body of the boots seem solid and well stitched. The cleated sole and toe cap are solid. I would give these boots 4.5 stars if half stats were allowed.

Great Quality
Like others have said, order your true shoe size. I’ve used these with both neoprene and breathable stockingfoot waders, and they are very comfortable. No issues with “bunching” and the protection at the toe and heel has saved me multiple times. They are also durable enough to use as hikers to hit the trails to the river, eliminating the need for extra boots to pack.

Nice boot
Bought these for my husband to use with his frogg togg waders with neoprene booties. He likes them together and they work well for the job. We will see how long they last.

Great quality fly fishing boot
Bought these for my husband and he really loved them. Comfortable and great quality. I did purchase his regular shoe size (12 ) and he was able to put his stocking waders on with the boot and they were just the right size, Very happy with them and would recommend

Just as good as my Simms A YEAR LATER
I wear these over my Simms G3 Guide neoprene stocking foot waders and I can't way enough good things about them. I've walked miles of the Au Sable going for trout. I've stood "in line" in the waist-deep Maumee fishing the walleye run. I'll toss these on and wet wade the local ponds with my kids for hours.Bottom line is these are probably the best bang-for-your-buck, non-Big Name boot you can findEDIT: About a year later. These boots see about an hour of use a week or more pretty consistently the past year. I have left them outside to dry overnight only to get rained on and dry again the next day. The first couple of weeks of the Walleye run and they froze solid over night. It wasn't until last week that the laces finally broke. Replaced the laces with Ironlaces and I expect these boots to last at least another year in their present condition. Best $70 Ive spent on fishing in a VERY long time. I see now the price has increased quite a bit but even at $90+tax these are still comparable to similarly priced simms

Great fit
The boots fit great and aren't really bulky and heavy even when wet and they dry fairly fast

Great First Impression...
Received these wading boots a week ago and first impressions are very good. They appear solidly constructed; far better than my old Bass Pro boots which lasted years. I am expecting good things and longevity from these as well. Tried them on with my waders and they are not only comfortable but fit true to size. Nice cleated sole which accepted studs very easily. I have used # 10 X 3/8" plated steel Hex-head screws forever to stud wading boots and found them to be a cheap and effective solution to ANY slippery surface. Looking forward to updating this review once I have had an opportunity to try the boots on-stream.

Pair # 2
Decided to get a second ones so I had dry pair on multiple days of fishing. They are a great, comfortable boot at a reasonable price. The only fault I found, one of laces broke the first year while I was tracking to my favourite fishing hole, I suggested packing an extra set of laces, just in case, it wasn’t a easy walk out through the bushes!

Very sturdy boots
My shoe size is 10 and I bought 12s. Mistake! Should have stuck with my shoe size. Otherwise I like the boot with felt. Great traction.
