If you see a Union Jack VERY CLEARLY displayed on the picture for a product you will probably, like myself, think that you are about to purchase a British product. Do not be fooled by Gravitis. This product is most certainly NOT British and the giveaway is that it arrives in a box very clearly marked MADE IN CHINA. Beware, because you will pay significantly more for this product that for similar items which obviously are Asian. Nothing wrong with Asian, but something certainly wrong with a company trying to fool you that the product is British - and Amazon do not think there is anything wrong with this!! Caveat emptor - buyer beware. I rated the item three stars simply because it is middle of the road and there is nowhere to rate the seller other than in the main overall rating. Yes, the machine works, but no differently from any of the others out there; certainly not worth the extra you pay for being deceived.

I had one of these a long time ago when I was a dog groomer and I find this one just as good.Although it is reported to be quiet, I think this is intended to mean in comparison to other brands. I doubt that it is possible to make a blaster which isn't quite noisy. I found that the first nozzle I used whistled very loudly but i was lazy and instead of working out what the problem was, I changed to a different nozzle which didn't whistle. I keep the blaster just inside my garage door and after a wet walk, I take it outside to use and then put it back inside again.I introduced it gradually to my 6 month old German Shepherd, increasing the amount of time bit by bit and he now accepts it fully. I am always careful not to let it blow in his face.It doesn't dry him completely but it does drive off a lot of the excess water and some of the mud so that he takes a lot less time to dry off and stops him shaking water and mud all over the house.I am very pleased that I bought this and wouldn't be without it.

This is my first high velocity dryer, and so far I'm delighted. I have two 7 month old Shih Tzu's that have relatively long hair. They both to love getting muddy so on long walks they need a rinse off and dry fairly often.I must point out both my pups are used to loud machines, and have been going to the groomer since 12 weeks old, so this is not alien to them. My boyfriend says its like a reverse vacuum cleaner - which is exactly the sound and the sound level. So, if your pooch hates that sound, they won't be a fan of this. First time I turned it on it scared them a small bit, as I only ever used a human handheld hairdryer on them in the past. But after the initial shock they were fine with it. I let them check it out when it was off afterward and on without pointing the nozzle at them which I think helped.Initially the nozzle looks short, but stretches once turned on. As others have said it does get warm quickly, but the handle bit keeps your hands separate to it so you'll be fine. Even though it's winter time I've not had to use the heat option on this as the air get to a nice comfortable warmth for my dogs, anything more and it would be too hot for my babies.As far as drying it does a great job. The blast just shoots the water right off them, and any dirt I don't manage to rinse off (I know as I can see/feel it on my tiles after!). Getting their paws and back legs was the hardest to get fully dry and now it's so simple. Their fur also has that 'just out of the groomer' air fluffed look as well which I love! It used to take me 20 mins per dog, now about 10 mins per dog. This is a massive saving for me (and my back) in the evening. I still use my own hairdryer on my dogs faces though, I would never put any dog through that sort of stress.The only thing that irks me about this machine is the length of the cord. I dry my two in the bathroom and there is no socket nearby, so I've had to resort to linking sockets together to get it into the room. If that could be changed, then I would be 100% happy with it.

I haven't taken it out of the box yet, however I want to make people aware that this product is being falsely advertised as British, it's actually made in China.UPDATE. I've now used the blaster and it's a nice piece of kit. The ability to vary the power via a knob is good. It did seem to me that the heat increased the longer I had the blaster running, which is not ideal, even though I didn't switch on the heat button. That said, I was able to dry my dog (tibetan terrier) very quickly and his fur was very easy to comb through after being dried with the blaster. So I've increased my rating to 2 stars. It would be higher if the company did not incorrectly advertise the product as being made in the UK.

If you want a high velocity dryer this is the seller you should buy from they’re fantastic. I bought mine a few months ago and use it at least twice a week it has the option to turn up the power and also a button to put the temperature up although I don’t really use that because depending on the room temperature you shouldn’t need to. It has a nice long hose and cable comes with a spare filter and 4 attachments. I have 3 shih tzu all in full coat and using this blaster cuts my drying time in half even though my hand dryer was a very good quality the blaster is a must for me now. I also use it for household maintenance like cleaning down the back of radiators since we get a lot of hair with the dogs. Now a couple of weeks ago my hose had broken off from the attachment probably because I’m always putting it on and off the grooming arm I’ve pulled it too hard and to my amazement after a quick message to the seller was immediately sent out a replacement for free. THEN I was also sent a free gift they had sent me a dog paw cleaner needless to say I am one happy lady. This seller is without a doubt the best seller and provided the best customer service I have ever received online I buy stuff from amazon pretty much every day and never right a review but I have to make others aware of how incredible this seller has been not just to me but to other customers too. These reviews are all great because this seller is great I will recommend without hesitation and definitely buy from them again in the future thank you so much for giving back my faith in humanity and with buying online. 💖
