A nice effective couple of tea infusers and a good spoon to boot
A simple well built set. The holes are very small, but quite numerous, which properly keeps all but the tiniest bits of tea out of the cup. It is stainless and so it is easy to clean and looks the same after 20-25 uses as it did out of the box. One thing I would have liked is a slightly larger saucer. It works fine but occasionally it accumulates a somewhat larger amount of tea water from the strainer. When this happens it requires care not to spill a few drops of tea.The lid attaches easily and has stayed secure. They are designed to brew an individual cup of tea so are accordingly small. This could make it difficult to close if one were to suffer from palsy. All in all they do the job very well. I gave 5 stars.Jay

Cute and handy! Could not be happier!
I bought this infuser set to go with my new teapot . I also got a nice selection of loose leaf teas to go with it. The combination has worked out PERFECTLY!The infusers are well crafted. The holes in the lids, side and bottom of each infuser are fine enough to keep in smaller pieces of tea leaves and other ingredients. I do wish the chain was just a bit longer, but that is a very minor complaint. And the spoon that comes with the infusers has proven to be a wonderful addition to the ensemble! To make a pot of tea I place 1 spoonful of leaves into an infuser, pour boiling water over the infuser and into the pot, then drop the infuser in, top off the pot and set aside to steep a bit. The combination works perfectly! I get enough tea per pot to enjoy 2-3 mugs of tea. Not too much, not too little. (Geeze, I sound like Goldilocks! Ha!)Another nice feature is that the infusers are attractive. Unlike your typical wire mesh tea balls, these would not be out of place at table during a high tea. I'm not usually so formal, but I appreciate the elegance nonetheless.

Well-made and designed
I have used a lot of different tea infusers. They all had drawbacks: too heavy materials that cooled the water, hard to clean, low capacity for the tea, hard to fish out of a teapot or mug, etc. But the biggest issue was that the holes in the infuser were too big and let very small pieces of tea get into a mug, in particular. I'd rather not have to deal with a tea strainer if possible when making one mug of tea. These little infusers have extremely small holes that trap even finely ground teas, such as many Irish blends. The infusers are also quite well-made with easy to open and close caps. And they are a bargain.

They do the job and I am pleased
It didn't get five starts because it was supposed to be the teacup and the regular style infusers. But the package has just two of the regular ones. They work, and that is what is important. The lids have stayed on tight, I like that there is a small tray that I can set it in to hold the excess liquid and not have to get paper towels or a small saucer. There have been no small pieces of tea leaves, stems or anything else and there is no after taste of metal, which I have had in previous cheap ones. So, am please all the way around. If I were picky I could have sent them back, but they do what they are supposed to do, why be so picky? If a gift, different story.

Well Designed and Durable Tea Infuser!
I have been drinking green tea brewed from loose leaves for many years, and have tried quite a variety of strainers over the years. The bucket-shaped infuser is the best! It's easy to open and lock shut, it's durable, and the holes are fine enough to trap any leaf fragments. It fits perfectly in my cup, and gives the leaves enough room to unfurl fully. The drip tray is perfect to sit on my desk awaiting the wet infuser. The little spoon fits in my tea jar, and two spoonfuls is the right amount for me. Love it!I have used the spring-loaded screen tea balls on a handle (screen gets mashed out of shape easily), plastic mesh cups that sit inside the top of your cup (never the perfect diameter for my favorite cup), screw-closure tea balls (I never can line up the threads right), and I have even just thrown the tea loose in my cup. This beats all those.

Perfect for fine loose leaf tea!
Ok, I love tea, so this review may sound a little over the top and like it was sponsored, but I promise it was not. I recently returned from a trip to London with quite a bit of tea and tea ware from the famous tea house, Fortnum & Mason. After brewing myself a pot of loose leaf tea a day (using an actual tea pot where you have to pour the tea over a strainer into your cup to catch the loose leaves) for over a week straight, I decided that, while it is luxurious and relaxing to sit and enjoy a whole pot of tea, it is not always practical. However, the loose leaf tea I brought home is so much better than the tea bags I'm used to in the States, so I was kicking myself that I didn't break down and spend the 38 pounds (almost $50!!!) on a tea infuser from F&M, but I just couldn't justify spending that much money on something so small. Luckily, Amazon came through as usual and I found these LuvlyTea infusers that work perfectly! The top locks into place so there's no chance of accidentally spilling the tea leaves, and the holes are so tiny that none of the leaf debris escapes (unlike when I use my expensive F&M tea pot and strainer!). I also really like that there is a dip tray included with each infuser so you don't make a mess after removing it from your cup and setting it aside. I've also found that the included tea scoop is the ideal size for making a perfect cup of tea every time. Obviously, I can't say enough about how happy I am with this tea infuser set. With two infusers and trays plus a scoop for this price, how could you possibly pass it up!!
