4th of July fireworks
My dog wore these for the fireworks on the 4th of July, which we were right under so they are very loud. She normally is trembling and super scared but these worked pretty well. I think they muffled the fireworks pretty well because she did not seem too bothered by them this year. Stella is about 45 lbs, a staffy mix and we got a size medium. I probably should have gotten a size up as they were very tight- even after adjusting them all the way. But a great purchase!

Fit good
My dog like many others hate when 4th of July rolls around. So I wanted to try this out, was very light weight, safe, and stretchy. Overall it did the job and help her hear less of the pops going off. She was a bit calmer compared to other years. But she was not a fan on wearing them lol. She is a small/medium size, chihuahua and terrier mix.

GET THESE!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I have a 7-month-old Mini Australian Shepherd, and he is currently in the midst of his second puppy phase fear period. Yay...Poor guy is petrified of traffic in Midtown Manhattan right now. He is completely freaked out. Even getting him out the front door of our building is a nightmare (for him) in itself. If there is a truck outside, forget about it, as he was spooked by two trucks lowering their back metal ramp violently down on the asphalt three weeks ago right outside our building's front door. (I need to point out that he usually is fine with the traffic and noises outside of his fear periods.)He normally goes to my husband's office twice a week on 5th Avenue and is jolly and happy the entire way walking there. This week I had to take the bus with him because he refuses to leave our block. Getting off at 5th Ave, he freaked out as there was a really loud demonstration on the corner, with hundreds of people, with multiple shouting into bullhorns and stomping their feet. He jumped into my arms, shaking. Poor little man.I decided to bring the noise-canceling headphones when I picked him up later in the day, to see if they would help him out a bit.I have been introducing him to the headphones for a few days, teaching him that when he boops them, he gets a treat. Then I started handing him treats between them. But he did not let me put them on, yet.He loves socializing at the office, and thankfully indoors, he is completely fear-free and playful, and he had a great and relaxing day there. But as we came outside, he backed up really hard with real fear in his eyes, trying to get back into the building. I thought, "Ok, I'm just going to put them on - no matter what." Wow. The immediate look on his face when they covered his ears was like the videos you see of kids hearing for the first time as their hearing aids are turned on. Total amazement and peace. He never once tried to take them off and walked the ENTIRE way home (a 20-minute walk) with NO fear. He didn't even notice big, loud trucks passing, nor a dog barking right in his ear behind him. I instantly said to my husband: "I am writing a review for these things! And thanking whoever made them." The picture of him in the bag was taken 2 minutes after they were put on his ears. Total relaxation. They are a life-changer for my pup! Even going to Starbucks for pup cups is no longer a scary experience during this fear period. They blast the music so loud in their locations and throw metal trays really hard into the sinks. Even I get stressed by it. He always wants to go in - he actually drags me there. Haha! But he's been really sketchy lately, pulling hard to get out when the trays hit the sink. Yet, he wants to stay because of the treat. I put them on him the other day when we came in, and he was totally relaxed and happy, as you see from the video.During his fear period, he's even skeptical of people and kids, which he normally LOVES. It turns out it's the loud traffic and city noises that make him skeptical of people, as when he wears the noise-canceling headphones, he's fine being pet by strangers. To any of you with pups that are afraid of loud noises, please give these a try for your pups' sake. My little one is 20 lbs and 17.5" tall (floor to shoulders) and wears a Medium size - if that can help you gauge the size for headphones. Please make sure you tuck in the ears, and that the chin strap isn't too tight. I adjusted the straps as well as I could on my dog and put a couple of stitches on them to prevent the straps from re-adjusting while he's wearing them.Note to the manufacturer: The headphones slide a little off when long-haired dogs shake their heads. Maybe consider putting some anti-slip grip tape/foam on the underside of straps. Also, maybe find a way to attach handles/small loops to the outside of cups, to make it easier to re-seat them on dogs with long fur, so you don't pull the hair on their ears.

Work good
"I recently purchased these earmuffs for my dogs, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I’m concerned about exposing my dogs to loud noises. I was looking for a solution to help them cope with their anxiety, and stress and minimize their exposure to loud noises during sports events or family gatherings, and I came across these earmuffs.Firstly, the earmuffs are very easy to put on and take off, and they fit my dogs perfectly. They weigh 6lbs and 11lbs and got them small for both. The adjustable straps do a fair job staying securely in place, and my dogs seem to be comfortable wearing them. They do not try to take them off or scratch at them, which is a good sign that they are not causing any discomfort.Secondly, the earmuffs are very effective at reducing the intensity of loud noises. During a recent hockey game, my dogs were noticeably calmer and less anxious with the earmuffs on.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase of these earmuffs for my dogs. They have helped to reduce their anxiety and stress during loud noises, and are easy to use and comfortable for my dogs to wear."

F U THUNDER
They work!! My 75 pound pitty baby is very afraid of thunder. We bought these headphones to help drown out the noise. As you can tell from the photo, they fit her perfectly. The headphones have an adjustable stretchy strap and are soft on the inside making it comfortable. Easy to clean and take on and off. We truly feel like they help to reduce the noise … I mean along with her anti anxiety meds but for sure a game changer.

Sadly it did not work
My dog becomes a basket case when any thunder is around. My neighbor recommended these because it helps for her dog that is terrified of thunder as well. However, my dog has long ears with a lot of hair so I'm thinking her ears got in the way. My neighbor's dog has short stand up ears so I tried pulling her ears out of the way but then the ear muffs did not fit properly. They are rather cute looking though.

Not truly soundproof
My dog will wear these and they seem comfortable on him however if worn for more than 30 minutes his ears get too hot. They are not soundproof, but they do seem to dampen the sounds. It worked well enough that I was able to get my scared pup away from loud sounds but not enough to allow for him to stay near the loud sounds.... It's truly only moderately effective. I would not recommend to very sound sensitive dogs.

Dog Ear/Sound Protection
Love these products and they fit my two pups well. Design is useful for the shape of my pups heads. Can’t speak to whether ear protection will suffice for thunderstorms or gun ranges, just yet.So far, so good I’m very pleased with my purchase!

These are fantastic!
These work awesome! I had to play with the straps a bit to get the right fit, but my dog was super patient about it. I tried them on and off a dozen times, giving high praise and treats when he left them on for a few seconds, then a few minutes, and eventually during the whole concert.
