MacBook Pro 15" 2018 charged from car battery
19.9v at 2.91a was the best reading I observed with the car running and the MacBook Pro 15" i7 (at 50% battery capacity) switched off. That equates to 57.9w.Using the same cable and meter with the MBP depleted to 20% and plugged into its 87w Apple charger I was able to see levels peak to 85w.The closer to full charge the laptop gets the less the watts as the battery gets closer to full. Perhaps the charger would push more if the battery was lower than 50%?A very brief test did result in a fair amount of heat from both the charger and USBC dongle, indicating energy was being lost in the form of heat.I can't speak to reliability yet and will update in time.Whilst a little slower than the Apple charger it will successfully charge your MacBook Pro 2018 from a 12v socket.

Like so many others, it burned itself out and died. Warranty... :/
I bought this Jul 1, 2020, and used it for 14 months until it died. I used it approx 70 days.It was evident very early on that it runs hot, way too hot. I measured it at 160F and so I immediately used some flexible USB fans we had (see pici) which kept it at "only" 110F (with 75F ambient temp). It does seem to have some temp/fault detection and will "turn off" and flash the red LED, until you remove it from power and wait...> 18-month warranty and provide friendly, easy-to-reach support.18 months is decent, but "easy-to-reach" support is ... seemingly nonexistent :(Tried emailing [email protected] didn't go through:> DNS Error: 2034390 DNS type 'mx' lookup of gissaral.com responded with code NOERROR 2034390Tried their website, http://gissaral.com/But it gets> 403 ForbiddenPLUS, it's listed at 90W, but all my "MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)" reports is 60W... which is usable, but not optimal as this laptop ships with an 87W wall charger.

Worked with my type-c devices
Build quality looks good. Larger than my current 45w pd usb-c car charger. Consists of a car charger and a usb-c converter. I tested it roughly. Let’s take a look at the results.-- Input Voltage 19.5V --[USB-A Ports]Both support apple 2.1A fast charge. Each port was able to deliver [email protected] (~9.86W) to my ipad.[USB-C Port]Supports PD only, no other fast charge protocols.PDOs - 5V/9V/12V/15V/20V@3AMeasured voltages - ~5.16V/9.23V/12.28V/15.49V/20.41VBoth 15V and 20V are able to deliver 60W.The 15V could sustain around 64W output while the 20V could go up to 80W but maintain at around 67W.Had no problem charging my 45W PD device. ([email protected], ~44.2W)>NoiseI randomly picked a voltage and current to check the noise.Noise of 12V@1A: low (Fairly good)[Conclusion]It performed good in my test. It reached 80W although it’s not as high as advertised. I guess it can go up to 90W but will still sustain about 67W output. However, it can provide enough power to charge most of the current usb type-c pd devices. I’ll give 4.7 out of 5 stars.

Works good now, the power is enough to fill up ...
At first device arrived with a non-working usb-c adapter, but after I contacted the support they sent me a new adapter for free. Works good now, the power is enough to fill up the battery of my 2016 MBP while I'm working on it.

Fails after limited use (bought twice). DO NOT BUY
I have purchased two of these in the last year. When they are functioning they work great. However the first device failed after six months (red blinking light and no power delivered). The second device failed within 35 days in the same way. This is after moderate use (4-6 hours per week). There is no user serviceable fuse or reset - when it fails, it’s gone.Strongly do not recommend, it is a waste of money

Much Better than the alternative. Really cranks the wattage on the USB-C port
Fantastic! Charges my Lenovo X1 Carbon 5th Generation while also charging my Iphone X and Airpods! Everything is topped off by the time I get to my destination. Previously bought another charger that would only output 60W on the USB -C port and it didn't charge the laptop.

It stops working after few months.
I bought this item less than a year ago. After one month it starts making consisten noise like a short circuit and stop working. I had a same issue with the adopter. It seems that this is typical issue. I bought the full pack including battery, charger and the car adapter. The adopter had the same thing. However they replaced the adapter for free.

Great choice
The speaker and camera components are the most annoying parts of replacing a screen. I was really glad to see them already assembled

Not delivering claimed 90w output via DC output
The product description claims it'll delivery 90w via the DC port - "DC Port output 90W(Max 20V 4.5A)" but a Dell XPS15 reports 60w when connected via the supplied USB-C adaptor, which rather defeats the object of paying extra for a charger capable of delivering more. Disappointed.
