I downloaded vcds lite before i received this. Usb drivers didn't work so i googled the driver. So didn't really use the disk.Works fine, anyone who is willing to spend 10 minutes using a bit of common sense will find it easy.

Flat out does not work. Ross tech is no good. Doesn't have an ounce of usability on any of the four makes i tried it on. Stupid set up. Absent drivers, aged software, and can't be used if its not on the same comm port with no way to rectify or calibrate the thing. Great idea, horrible product.

Had an ABS issue with my 1995 Seat Ibiza GTI project car. After changing all the sensors it was looking like the pump so needed to read the code to pinpoint the exact issue.I was sceptical at first buying this after reading some reviews but took the chance. After getting the software loaded on an old laptop after following some of the reviews I plugged it into the car and started the VCDS software. Set it up and pressed the scan button……And it worked! Had several codes on there so cleared them all and started from scratch. As expected another code popped up relating to the ABS so was able to Google the issue and find a fix.

Bought this to clear codes on my TT Mk1. I spent hours trying to get it to work on my Win 10 laptop, and I'm pretty IT literate.Eventually I found a driver from driver identifier dot com and installed that before installing the VCDS-Lite from the provided CD. After I installed the driver, I had to uninstall it in device manager and re-plugin the device so that it correctly installed. Make sure you follow the included instructions on how to ensure it is using the correct Com port.I also went to properties>compatibility of the exe file and ticked 'run as administrator'.The device must be plugged into the car with the ignition on for the software to be able to do the initial test, otherwise it says device not found.Having gone through all this, the device did then work and was able to detect and clear codes.

Wouldn’t communicate when used on a Nissan, bought a different unit worked first time.Delivery was quick unfortunately product not so good

Fantastic quality done the job perfectly and will do for many years. The only thing I could say is perhaps the illustrations on the disk could be improved as it just looks like a photo..

Used for accessing the ecu of my Rover 25 using Rover specific software and it was all good. I HIGHLY suggest not using a data found on the included disc as some of it returned as viruses on Virus Total. A quick search online for FTDI drivers and VCDS-Lite can easily result in safe drivers and software.

Bought for use on 2012 WRX STI for use with BTSSM and FreeSSM. Works fine with both just needing a USB C adapter to use with BTSSM on android phone. Haven't tried it with RomRaider yet but suspect it will work okay.
