Received yesterday so no experience with it yet- I'll try to update with that. Material seems strong though, hoping it withstands my lab who destroyed a previous soft material one.For size references- I can't see dimensions when given sizes, I need references- I stuffed the Large bed with 3 standard size bed pillows. So the bed is as wide as a pillow is long, and as long as 3 pillows next to each other. The picture is the bed assembled laying on an old full size bedspread with is folded in half. So not as wide as I imagined, but to be fair I also didn't grab a tape measure before ordering to get a better idea of the size.On a side note- pay attention to the description. I got stuck on the number 2 and not what that constituted. This is 1 complete bed including the inner pouch and outer cover, not 2 sets of beds. Oops. My disappointment from missing reading.

So far the bed cover seems to be well made, I bought the ballistic material in dark brown. My issue was that I have 2 older large dogs (10 and 11yrs), and one young Boston Terrier. The Terrier enjoyed flipping over my shepherds bolster bed and pulling the bottom out of it. Unfortunately this happened only once in awhile and at night!! This material seems like it will hold up to his efforts at destruction. The waterproof liner is so airtight that the bed seems to fill up with air, when the dog first steps on it it almost has to “deflate” so that bed is usable. If I buy another I’ll go one size up also, the large is still a bit small for a 70# shepherd

I purchased two of these covers, one in medium and one in large. I chose the heavy denier nylon fabric and it is very tough. We have a 5 month old puppy who likes to pick at things until he can rip them apart. These dog bed covers will be very resistant to that. I like that they are easy to wipe off, or throw in the washing machine since our dog gets muddy pretty regularly. I filled them with a memory foam mattress pad that I bought at our local box store and cut down to size, then double layered. I did cut off the dogbed4less tag since our pup immediately started picking at it with his teeth. The medium size is pretty standard dog bed size. The large is long, but not really wide. I wish they offered a small size for our older dog.

I have a boxer. He has shredded every dog bed we have bought him (plus our furniture) but he cannot or had not been able to tear this up. It is very thick and durable. The material is not too cozy and soft for him but it is the only bed cover that has lasted over nite in his kennel with him. Very happy with this cover.

We have 4 dogs (2 large including for the last 6 months a massive pup hell-bent on destruction, & 2 small, determined rat terriers) and these covers have so far lasted well, around a year, much longer than regular dog beds, which the dogs always chewed or dug through and de-stuffed way too quickly (one lasted just one day -argggh). The dogs seem to find these covers, stuffed with 3 cheap bed pillows each, very comfortable and preferred them to the usual kind. To keep peace, we bought and put down in other locations a couple more of them and now use these exclusively. The covers, though pretty tough, look good and are easy to wash and re-stuff with pillows again. Recently, one edge on one has been chewed on, but it is so far not major. This product has saved us money, time and trouble and the dogs obviously approve.

I love this bed and am now buying my third one so that there’s one for each dog. The tough inner lining is the key to my happiness. It prevents water and smells from getting into the cushion. I don’t stuff mine with pillows though, I use thick memory foam from other beds I bought in the past. I just stuffed it in this one and no longer smell it.

Product description says it's for light chewers and that is accurate. We bought two of the brown ballistic covers for our lab puppies and they lasted 4 months without incident but suddenly they started chewing on them. It's started with a corner but they're still usable! They still hold up better than other beds we've had. I would rather buy these once a year than spend $200 each on 4 of the chewproof beds that are out there. That's just my preference though.

We got the brown ballistic cover and so far our puppy has not chewed it up. He is a 50lb golden doodle and he really likes to chew, but I wouldn't necessarily say he's an aggressive chewer. We did however go through two other dog beds before trying this one and so far it has done the trick. We used one of the previously chewed up beds to go inside this one and that worked out well. It is a fabric so I'm sure if a dog is determined they would eventually chew through it, but so far our puppy has not.

So far so good, our 90 lb extreme chewer hasn’t bothered with it yet,but it’s only been a week! Would give five stars but it’s a VERY odd shape and very narrow,so it fits my dog’s kennel front to back but not side to side.
