Would these fit 1inch Square chess board?

Probably not, it will be tight. The bases of these pieces are 1 inch in diameter so they will take up the entire squares on the board. I bought these as I had gotten a stone board with 1 1/2 inch squares but needed to replace the pieces (several had broken). The 1 inch fits well on my board but they will be jammed together on a board with 1 inch squares.

What size is the base? I was wondering if these would fit on a travel board with 1.19" square (3 cm).
