Handmade Women Vintage Style Real Leather Shoulder Shoppers Bag Purse 16” Brown

Very happy with this purchase. Two extremely large inside pockets with metal zippers. Smaller outside pocket with a metal snap. Top metal zipper. Yeah there will be a bit of a leather smell in the beginning which will fade with time.....what is all the complaining about? The handles fits over my shoulder with a winter coat on. This is a sturdy well made bag.

Simple design but lots of room

I’ve been looking for a solid leather bag for quite some time now. I really wanted to like this bag and I was conflicted after reading the reviews however decided I would take a chance and order it anyway. Upon receiving the bag and taking it out of the packaging my first observation was that the leather was very dry. I thought that this could be rectified by conditioning it. I rubbed in approximately a half of a container of mink oil into the leather. The leather was so dry that it just sucked it up. That made it look better And feel better to the touch however in the process of doing this I noticed that the actual craftsmanship and the way that the bag was put together was very poor. There were several places on the bag that I noticed that the seams were not finished. I also located A portion on the external pocket that had a cut in the leather that will compromise the integrity of the pocket and you would risk having whatever you were carrying in it fall out because of this. Lastly the manner in which the external pocket was sewn to the front portion of the bag was done very poorly the seam is uneven and it’s not attached correctly to the front of the bag. That being said the rest of the bag is fairly heavy leather so it’s actually quite a shame that the craftsmanship and putting it together was so poor. This bag is not worth the price I paid for it.

This purse is perfect. It is a little larger than I expected, but I'm glad. It is very well made and high quality. When you first get it it does smell pretty bad but the odor goes away quickly. (This is the second day and I can hardly smell it.) The two inside zippered compartments are great for organization and the roomy outside compartment is perfect for my cell phone. The purse IS a little bit heavy, but real leather is not light so I expected that. I like that there's no interior lining to tear or wear out. The color and patina is beautiful. I have spent twice as much on purses that weren't nearly as nice.If I had to say one bad thing about it it would be that the handles are a little short to use as a shoulder bag. I wish they were longer.

I like the purse, it’s just not what I expected. It’s really big & it’s a completely different color than the purse advertised. I sold it to a friend.

I am very pleased with this bag. The stitching is nice and straight and the straps look to be very sturdy. It does smell slightly as it states but it's not extreme. The two pockets inside (one on each side) are very large. If I'm remembering correctly, I read a post before buying the bag where someone asked if the zippers were metal or plastic. They are both. The zipper slide is metal, and I believe the teeth to be plastic. They seem to be good zippers, but time will tell. The pocket on the outside fits my phone and keys nicely.10/23/20 Update - The photo is from today. I still really love this bag. I have used it everyday for almost 2 years. It is the only purse I have and use. I'm really impressed with how well it has held up, especially the straps. My purses generally run pretty heavy with everything that gets piled in it and usually I have trouble with the straps breaking. The straps on this purse still appear to be sturdy and the stitching is still holding strong. The leather has gotten softer with time. I haven't had any trouble with the zippers. All in all. If this bag were to break today, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

I received my bag today. I was looking for a replacement for my favorite bag, which I wore out through long use. I do believe this bag may be better than my favorite bag. It is a beautiful rich color and smells great. The stitching and workmanship are excellent and it looks really sturdy. I love the outside pocket, where I can store my phone. It also has two large, zippered inside pockets. I look forward to years of use but if this wonderful bag wears out, I will be happy to buy another bag from this manufacturer.

This purse arrived very worn looking. Not as nice as the picture. It looks like it may be used, or is too distressed. The material stinks very badly. I cannot use this purse because of the bad smell. I waited too long to open the plastic cover, and cannot return it now. I would not purchase this item.

Purse is beautiful but very heavy. Over this past year the color has become darker and darker. I'm not enjoying the color change.. It's very very dark now, to the point where it looks dirty. I wish it wouldn't change like this, I have never had a leather purse change this drastically before, especially in such a short time.

The color was very light compared to the picture in the ad. Also the dimensions were 16x12 and what I cgot was 12x16. I got a hassle free refund which is great, but I much rather have the purse.

I love this bag.It is super roomy with 2 big inside pockets. Fits my laptop.It does have an odor that i think is from the leather tanning, but it eventually fades away.I rubbed mink oil on it for protection and it looks like a million bucks.

The picture is nothing like the product. I was expecting something more flat like the picture and the opening wider. I could not fit anything in it. I used it as a purse and also for my lap top.
