Cougar Undercover (Heart of the Cougar Book 5)

I truly enjoyed this book as "Double Cougar Trouble" left me curious about Dan and his mystery woman and, to my utmost pleasure, "Cougar Undercover" satisfied that curiosity! FBI Special Agent Addison (Addie) Davidson needed a "husband" for some of her missions but that man needed to be able to hold his own. His being a cougar would be an added bonus, something Addie really wanted but figured she might have to do without. Army Captain Dan Steinacker is number 13 on her list of possibilities and he fits the bill. Ten and a half years later, Dan's now the sheriff of Yuma Town and someone's trying to kill Addie. The first time she was able to escape the situation herself despite being wounded although she stopped at Dan's house on her way to her personal safe house. This time she's too seriously wounded but she manages to call Dan who gets to her just in time.Can Addie and Dan find out who's after her and why so they can get her out from under this situation? Dan wants Addy to commit to him and stay in Yuma Town. And can Dan convince Addy that they're perfect together for real? He certainly does his best to do so and it's humorous to listen to him. To Addie's surprise, the town rallies behind her although she doesn't want anyone else in danger but it does make her feel safe and at homeTerry Spear's Shifter novels are all on my To Read list as soon as I know they're coming out. I love them all. "Cougar Undercover" is one awesome read and I'm eager to read the next Cougar book. I can't wait to find out which Cougar gets his or her mate. I know Stryker, one of Dan's deputies, is eagerly awaiting his mysterious woman.

I love every shifter story that Terry Spear writes and this one is no different. If you have read the previous cougar stories, like me, you have been anxiously waiting to hear about Sheriff Dan's mystery wife. This is the story that explains it all. There is plenty of action, character development, returning characters, and some steamy scenes.If Terry Spear reads this, my vote is for Stryker's story next! In any case, if you like shifter stories with action, great characters, a super storyline and some sexy parts, you will love this. If you haven't read any books by Terry Spear, then read this series and the short story in order, you will be happy you did. If you like them, there are a ton of wolf shifter stories, some great jaguar shifter stories and one polar bear shifter story by Terry Spear at this time! You will have plenty to read for a while, until you catch up and read them all! Then you'll be stuck waiting for the next one like the rest of us! Enjoy.

Great book! The twists, the turns, the chemistry, the revelations, the hot cougar shifters! Another great story from the Mind and World of Terry Spear.

I absolutely love this series. Can’t wait for more from Terry. I couldn’t put this book down and stayed up way too late reading.

As with a of Ms Spear's shifter series this one is packs full of action, suspense, surprises song the at and of course romance. Two thumbs. Keep them coming.
