Fixed my trucks sloppy clutch with this, as well as 2 of my friends same issue. If your OBS Ford is difficult to go into 1st, reverse, and downshifts are a pain... Check your bushing on the end of your clutch master cylinder rod. If it's worn some of the metal away, just get this. Fixes it and will never go bad.In all 3 cases I drilled and tapped this Heim joint for a grease nipple to eliminate any squeaking.

Buy a higher quality kit. Set screw stripped out leaving me unable to use the truck as you have to cut the bushing end off of the clutch master cylinder. Look into diesel hub kit.

This is a great fix for an engineering mistake. After reading the reviews, I was afraid to cut the pushrod with it still in the truck. I found that it wasn’t too hard, I just cut directly below the factory loop with a dremel with the stone cutting wheels. Unsteady hands caused me to break four cutting wheels but then I was through and the hind joint fit tightly on the remaining shaft. Now my clutch is solid and my cruise control is working again. Very glad I made this repair.

Getting the bracket off and cutting the rod took the longest about of time. You will definately be sore. Make sure you dont cut too much off the rod because it can cause rod fix to bottom out. Mine hits but does not interfere with performance.
