My Second Time to Purchase
I like to look at all my Amazon options before I purchase. Not only is this set the best bang for your buck, since it comes with many pieces of furniture and people, but it is very sturdy and well made. There are no stray paint marks to detract from the appearance and all of the pieces are glued tight. I purchased one set after I refurbished a doll house for a friend. The second set is a gift fo my granddaughter.

Small parts
We got this doll house set for our daughters third birthday. She loves it! The pieces fit perfectly insider her Melissa and Doug Fold and Go dollhouse. The furniture pieces have held up well to her and herfive year old brother playing with them. The flower in the vase comes out but easily goes in again. There is more furniture than her little house can hold, but she came up with a solution. She opens her house and puts the extra furniture in front. The vase, lamp, and TV set are definitely chokable pieces for young toddlers and babies. The doll family is cute, but not without some small faults. Or do I mean parts? The arms and legs are bendable, which is a huge plus, but one of the "hands" came off a doll within the first two weeks. We were able to glue it back on with some wood glue. The baby does not have bendable parts and is more pillow-like. Overall this is a cute set but those with babies or young toddlers should be careful because of the small pieces. Follow up (2 years later): My children are rough on toys and these dollhouse toys are no exception. I have a 7 year old, a 5 year old, and 2 year old playing with them regularly. Since purchasing, a doll bed, at least one cupboard door, and one other piece have broken.

These arrived as expected. The quantity of furniture for the price was a great value. The quality was great. If your kids or grandkids break your dollhouse furniture, this is a great replacement :)

Great for those little hands.
I was impressed with the sturdiness and the fact that the finished product is durable and smooth and safe for small children. The basic design and colors are eye catching for them as well.
