BORNWomen's, Tarkiln Ankle Boot

Super cute, really comfy. Also everyone said to size up, which I did, but I should have ordered my regular size because mine are a little loose and tend to such my socks into the shoe as I walk, if the socks are loose at all.

I love the shoe style. Haven't had a chance to wear them other than trying them on and so far feel very comfortable. Amazon and the reviews all suggested to size up 1/2 size. I normally take a size 7 in shoes and 7 1/2 in sneakers so I went with the 7 1/2. They are little big and the heel slips out, but decided to keep them because I can wear thicker socks with them. I would have rated a 4.5 if I could due to the sizing but overall so far pleased.

Good quality and fits as expected. I really like the color as well.

They're much more rugged, boot-like than I had imagined. I was expecting a softer, pliable, regular bootie-type, comfortable shoe, but these border on clod-hopper. They're big and heavy and really not comfortable at all, especially for the price. I'll keep them and try 2 pair of socks or one thick pair, plus sole inserts so they can at least be comfortable enough to wear. I mean, they don't look horrible, but they're definitely not feminine in any sense. If you're looking for farmwear or cowboy boot-esque, these may work for you. UPDATE: I found that after I wore them with inserts a couple times, they began taking the shape of my foot and became a bit more comfortable except for a persistent rubbing spot on the inside ankle area. I have normal-shaped feet and ankles and have never had that problem before. Anyway, I didn't need the inserts after just 2 wears. And,just as I thought they were gonna work out okay, I noticed a hole inside the heel of one of them (see photos), and there seems to be no cushion there. The leather, however, is amazing. Materials, quite impressive. A strange conundrum.

I was absolutely pleased with these booties. So comfortable and cute. A little pricey but worth the money. I want the black ones.

I love the color and design of the boot. They were a little above my budget but I decided to purchase them hoping they would be a good shoe that would last a few years. I noticed the first week the right shoe began to hurt my heel. It felt like something in the sole/heel area came apart. I had to stop wearing them because it became very painful. The left shoe is fine. I don’t know what happened, I’m hoping for the show to be replaced.

Love the way they look, fit Well. They do slip up and down a bit, no way to fix that, such a bummer
