CCA has some re-shelled KZ product, but also has some unique ones. This CRA+ is CCAโs unique one. -About CRA+ This CRA+ is a sister of CRA. CRA+ has calmer tuning compared to CRA โ an extremely energetic, thus may be a bit exhausting sister. Here is my quick walkthrough of what to expect from CRA+ โOverall tonality โถ๏ธvery bass dominant but has quality driver compared old generations (KZ-EDX) โถ๏ธSound like W-shape, not bad, junkie taste with quality backbone โถ๏ธgood image focus โถ๏ธbut still CRA+ canโt be good enough in technicality over LCP equipped Chu / lea. Par with Salnotes Zero, so if tuning fits your preference, itโs a good choice for $20-30 segment โถ๏ธThis feeling is like, I had a burger thatโs made with premium grade beef. Junk food with some strong taste and emphasis, but well made. โถ๏ธoverall weight is on mid-bass & mid, treble is nicely scooped off the edgy portion. Natural? No. Good? Yea pretty good๐ At least my ear is intact and sound. โถ๏ธnote is rich and round sounding โถ๏ธbass could be a bit lowered if CCAโs intention was to nerd it. Unique taste but not for everyone. โถ๏ธbass bleed sensitive group or basso-phobia may **** in pants โถ๏ธ for bassheads? Yea! CRA+ ($26) vs Tripowin Lea ($20) Lea is also has some weight on bass, but sound more natural and tuning wise, CRA+ is for punchy bass, and rich mid. If you prefer a better sound quality Lea is LCP driver equipped which is 1-class above what CRA+ have got. CRA+ ($26) vs Moondrop Chu ($20) Moondrop Chu is neutrally tuned with some spice added for sub-bass and female vocals, meanwhile CRA+ is mid-bass elevated โa little north of excessiveโ focused , with wide range of mid range spotlights, somehow broadway style presentation. Chu also has superior driver which is also LCP equipped which makes overall sound quality a better one. CRA+ ($26) vs 7Hz Salnotes Zero ($19) CRA+ is an IEM of emphasis (mid-bass and mid), while Salnotes Zero is colorless clean and natural sounding IEMโeven good for studio monitoring for professionals in my humble opinionโ both dynamic drivers share a equally compelling technicalities l, so it a matter of tuning preferences. If you like impact, CRA+, if you like natural sounding reference tuning, Salnotes Zero. CRA+($26) vs Tangzu Wanโer S.G($20) CRA+ as mentioned above, is mid-bass & mid IEM, while S.G is an IEM tuned like $2000 masterpiece, one of most sophisticated tuning you can taste for any kind of genre. Both share same level of technicalities, so it is your choice , a cheeseburger or Michelin 3-star dishes. It depends on your mood, if you are feeling junk food, yes! CRA+. Or if you are feeling tuning with philosophy, Wanโer S.G โare you still here? Wow, fine. Here is some bonus track ==๐ดNEED COMMON REFERENCE? ๐ด== Yes, if we share same reference, it will be a good anchor point, here you go. -Finding your personal hearing preference [Gain Spots] (i.e. HRTF anchor point) 1๏ธโฃGoogle โonline tone generatorโ, use Neutral reference IEM(Final E500) for testing. 2๏ธโฃfind your ear resonance even from sub-bass range, for me itโs 96hz. 3๏ธโฃMultiply lowest reaonance point (for me 96hz), you can find your upper mid pinna gain range. 96x2x2x2x2x2=3,072hz (pinna gain) x 2 =6,144hx(concha gain) x 2 = third harmonics 12,288hz 4๏ธโฃYour pinna gain spot, is most important resonance point, it is your personal Head-Related Transfer Function (HRTF). Seek IEMโs frequency response graph/chart, and see if the pinna gain spot of your interest coincides with your pinna gain peak spot. If matched, assess if the resonance is too strong or weak, if you have a perfect match, you will hear IEM as if you are hearing with your own ear. 5๏ธโฃThose recaptured gain spots, 6.1kHz and 12.3kHz dip will reduce ear resonance thus reducing fatigues but other frequency range remained clear so if will not cost huge sacrifice on total presentation. Pleasantly Surprised.
I was shocked a5 how good these sound for the price. Heck they beat out several of my headsets for clean sound. TBF I had moderate to low expectations, so these blew that expectation out of the water! 6month update: the tips just don't quite fit right or something. I can't for the life of me get the right ear to stay in. It's like the cord pulls on it, twisting it right out of my ear. I'm testing some 3rd party tips and it's better but not fixed. Having the cord loop over the ear be formatted would be a VAST improvement.

Pretty Disappointed
I wanted to try these IEM because of the Ultra-Thin DLC Diaphragm Dynamic Driver. Without tuning my audio I did a gaming, music, and a movie session. First the gaming session, I noticed the clicking at times, especially when firing a gun high-pitch gun and with footsteps. Unlike other IEM, I could determine the direction of gunfire, but the distance was still a little lacking. During the music session, it was really noticeable with the clicking, I played mostly rock and heavy metal and a little of hip hop. I started tuning my audio to fit the sound better. I read a previous review that these were for bass head, which is very true. I even noticed the clicking when I had the equalizer at flat. When, I played a YouTube, the clicking was very noticeable when the host talked and I watched a couple of anime and various action movies.

Excellent sound for Inexpensive IEMs
These IEMs sound very good in my studio for shooting YouTube vids when I don't want big cans on my head. I've tried several in this price range and nothing compares so far to the sound. I found using memory foam nozzle tips makes them very comfortable for longer sessions.

excellent price, excellent sound
actually blown away by how good these are. I love the pricepoint. only downside is one of my earcuffs feels loose, like it doesnt really conform to the shape i need it to, and feels like it comes off my ear. if there was a stiff wire in the cuff to make them moldable and keep a shape that would make these so much better. luckily the cable is detachable so maybe you can just get a new cable with better ear cuffs

Very solid IEMs for the price tag (bought at around $20-25)
Great sound and was very satisfied with them, but gave them to my friend once I got the Tangzhu W'aner (I think that's how you spell it?)
