All you really need - easy and satisfying to use - small size and small price - rugged & waterproof - a real value winner
I've got a about 20 binoculars of different sizes from small pocket size to large astronomy size (including Zeiss, Bushnell, Celestron, etc). Most of them are too big to carry around all the time. Wanted something inexpensive & durable (no worries like with the big and/or expensive stuff), and portable so I would actually carry it around. This is the binocular I don't hesitate to take with me.Bought this little TASCO Off-Shore 8x25 and have been extremely happy. Took it to Europe and had many grateful people ask to look through it while we were up on Mount Saint Michel in France. Used it to look at the moon too and that worked fine. My girlfriend likes it because it is light and easy for her to hold so I bought her one to keep on her kitchen table and she uses it all the time for bird feeder and wildlife viewing. She also likes the dark blue color.Overall good image and comfortable to hold and use...seems rugged and is waterproof...nothing fancy...but all you really need. This is a great value and a great starter binocular for all ages...even practical for someone with expensive binoculars who does't want the worry or bulk of carrying those around all the time. This will easily fit in a jacket pocket or keep in the car. I will probably be handing a bunch of these out for Christmas.

Great Binoculars - not blue, though
I bought two pairs for my kids so they wouldn’t need to borrow mine. 8x25 is a perfect size for nature watching. The optics are bright and sharp. They are as good or better than my similar Bushnell 8x25 waterproof binoculars. My only minor complaint... they are not blue as pictured. They are definitely black. It does not affect the function or quality though.

You Get What You Pay For
This is about what you get at this price point. They are OK, but a bit difficult to get a full field of view unless you are very still and are good and holding them just the right distance from your eyes.

Field of View, Clarity
I like Tasco armored binoculars, however, 8x is as strong as I can use comfortably. I like the field of view in these as it is larger than the 8x20 pair I have carried since 1983. That is not a typo. These are small enough to fit in a vest pocket, on a padded add-on pocket on my backpack shoulder strap, they have ridden in my pickup over rough roads and still are in focus when I need them. From spotting game to watching sports, these do the trick.Extremely durable and surprisingly high quality glass. For those who seem to have trouble with the focus - might I suggest you actually read the instructions? They are on a bit of paper that comes in the box.

WE USE FOR WORK, GREATEST OPTION
We use for a crew of 84 people, we are switching everyone to these, they are moisture resistan and very clear image. We use them for reading digital screens in home energy monitors (numbers no bigger than a calculator).I do birdwatching on my own time, I keep a pair in my car glovebox as a "opportunistic" birdwatching thing but they are not my go to for a birdwatching trip, just "emergency".
