Do not buy if first time users. This is meter only. You need the STARTER KIT. The package contains a user manual for Started kit. The manual says on page 3 what is in Starter kit. So with this item you are short sterile lancets and lancing device and control solution. If you call Vender of this product Diabetes Supplies 4 less and complain they tell you to call Mfg Home AideDiagnostics who told me to contact Diabetes Supplies 4 less. NOT RECOMMENDED
