In looking at smell proof ashtrays for my car the majority of them said that they were not smell proof, so I got this. It takes a little effort to get the inner lid off and back on but that's kind of the point isn't it? DEFINITELY AIR TIGHT if it keeps the cigarette smell out of my car!

While I liked the features - airtight, easy to clean and even the quality of the product - it fell short for me in the way of size. I will keep this little container perhaps to travel with but can not use it in my kitchen for storage of teas. It simply does not hold enough. Buyer beware, while it has many good traits, the size and capacity fall short for this buyer.

Canister is great. Came with a tiny ding in it, but it’s near the seam so I face that towards the wall. In case anyone is curious, it perfectly fits the 3.5oz bag of Jade Leaf Matcha with my 1/2tsp scoop. This is more aesthetically pleasing to me than the bag it comes in. Keeps the light out and with the double lid, it stays really fresh. Happy with my purchase!

I wanted a smell-free kitty treat tin to replace my old one. I use it to train my cat, so that she'll hear the treats-shaking noise (sometimes I add a button or penny in it) and run to me when I shake it. This works fantastically! I placed cat stickers on it so everyone in the family knows that the treats aren't for human consumption.

For those buying loose tea in bulk, this is a handy size to keep on the counter for daily use. The double lid makes it airtight, as well. The delivery was delayed (shipping company dealing with incredible demands of COVID-19). The company reached out in email asking if the shipment had arrived, knowing timeframes were uncertain...very much appreciated!

I needed a small silver container with a lid and no markings. This is a lovely canister and looks perfect on display. **With the inner lid, I'm sure it would be excellent for tea (it's actual use)!

Very nice tin canister, i us it to hold my lavender creme loose tea, its air tight and keeps ants out and the freshness in.

I use these type canisters for survival methods. Great for storing fire starting equipment and other small life survival items. They are good for keeping items dry and don’t weigh much or take a lot of space.
