Swimline SofSkin Super Thick 2" Luxury Floating Mattress

Right out of the box it smelled like fingernail polish and was kind of sticky for a few days. The blue skin is very thin and stuck to our patio floor from laying on the floor for several days in the heat, and it pulled off a small piece of the skin leaving an eraser size hole when we picked it up to use it again. That was very disappointing but I was able to put a thick sealer over the spot so hopefully it seals out the water and doesn't get any worse. but it is extremely comfortable. I am 195 lb and Float on it with no problem but if I was much larger I'm not sure it would float very well.

I bought two of these. They didn't have measurements in the listing but after reading other reviews, I heard they may be the extra long floats. To my delight, they were! Excellent price on this size float. I love them, the kids love them, even the dog loves them! Seriously...I can't keep the dog off them. Your body submerges slightly when lounging on them but that's exactly what I like. Its nice to be a little cool in the water while catching rays. This is the one to buy! I did a lot of research before purchasing and this is the best value for the money!

Finally a float that floats! We love these pool floats. They hold you up instead of sinking halfway down to the bottom when you get on one. They are very light weight floats so storage is a breeze. The only dislike would be for the little pillow insert. It's somewhat difficult to get down in the headrest portion and blown up. I've left it out on ours and it still floats great.

When I first opened the box, there was a strong chemical smell, but after sitting outside a couple of days, it was fine. It's comfortable and supportive and keeps you out of the water, yet cool. I like that it is thick and not flimsy.

Pool owner disclaimer: I bought this is 2016 after dealing with those mesh floaties for years (that always ripped). So next summer, 2020, I’ll still be using this floatie. The mesh ones were $20 (per year), and this one is $100 total but I’m pretty sure this floatie will last many more years. If not - I’ll be back to change my review.

This thing does smell. Very strong. Put it in the car and it was unbearable. Once taken out of the box, I noticed rips and gouges before it was even used. Once put in the water and used by my 6 year old, it ripped more.

Ours also started cracking shortly after using it. Only cracking on the wavy side, flat side is OK. However, the foam will start taking on water and get very heavy and will begin to leak water after removing from pool.Had another brand years ago and it lasted over 10 years using it at the river on river rocks.

I got this one cause I couldn't afford the "island"Everyone one loves using it from adults to kids.

The quality of this matt is very low. Do not buy, add a little 40$ for much more! On top of it, I have return the item to the supplier which is very difficult to communicate with and still no refund.Don't waste your time and money buying this poor quality product. Invest a little more for the real matt.

I love that this floater is foam and never needs to blown up or deflated. It seems to be good quality and am sure will proper storage will last several summers. I like that I am partially in the water when floating on it but that being said wish it was a little thicker. You wouldn't want to float face down on this mat.

Purchased for my husband for Fathers Day so he could pretend he was at Sandals. A little less buoyant than the Sandals/Beaches mats but meets expectations. These mats are expensive for what they are but compared to competitors this was good value. No issue with quality. Husband loves it.

Le matelas flotte bien et renfonce tout juste assez dans l’eau pour se rafraîchir. La texture est confortable et ne vient pas trop chaude. Il se nettoie bien et c’est très léger. J’ignore pour le moment si il sera durable car je l’ai depuis quelques semaines seulement.

This device does not float properly, your body is still in the water at least 50%... not as good as expected. Disappointed. Would have thought that at that price, I'd get a better floating device!
