YANAGIYA | Scalp Care | Hair Tonic 360ml (Japan Import)

I used Petrole Hahn Hair Tonic when I was living overseas, but infortunately it is not available in the US. I tried Vaseline hair tonic but it is very greasy with a somewhat off-putting smell - not a real tonic. The Yanagiya tonic comes in a truly upscale packaging: an old-fashioned glass bottle, with brand engravings on the bottle itself (and not a clear tape). The liquid color is a beautiful mint green. Just holding the bottle feels luxurious, and in the larger 360ml size, it is definitely substantial. Once you apply the tonic to your scalp, it does give you an envigorating feeling of freshness, enhanced by the strong mint smell - and truly deserves the 'tonic' label. The Yanagiya brand has been around for over 400 years, and this specific item 60 years. The ingredients include rare components such as castor oil, arrot extract, Swertia japonica extract and Sophora root extract. Great product in a beautiful packaging.

We've been using the product for years, and we love it. It really helps us to regrow the hair, smells grear, and feels good in the scalp.

Been using this since December of 2022 so about 4 months now. I think it's pretty effective! My hairline seems to be less sparse and I've used about half of it now. Scent is ok. It's not super strong and it has a cooling effect when you apply it on your scalp.Including before pictures (you can see my hairline was soo sparse) and now it's much much better!

I use to have dry scalp.After 2 weeks ,The effect is obvious.I am happto find the right product.

Product looks perfect. But I need to buy a sprayer to use this. Not easy to use it directly. It evacuates very fast after I put it in my hand.

Once I applied my hair is getting hard and falling… supposed to be soft to your hair but unfortunately its not🥲

I used this product for awhile, it makes my scalp comfortable, but my hair still loose.

昭和の時代以来散髪屋でつけてくれるヘアトニックの香りです。ある意味おっさんくさいけど懐かしいいい匂いです。大容量なので２ヶ月もつと思います。昭和の散髪屋の香りが好きなら必ず買うべき。おすすめです。

香りはいいです。たっぷり使えます。持続性はないです。
