Good quality
I like this pad better than any other ones I've tried. It doesn't slide around and is a good sized working surface.

Overall nice mat for needle felting
This works well for needle felting. It sheds a fiber here and there, but I think it is just because it it still new and getting broken in, nothing like the foam mats that just disintegrate. I mostly use it on my lap (the XL one) and it is good to know that it is somewhat flexible for lapwork. Probably the smaller one would have worked better for that or if you use a stiff surface under it, but I wanted a big one. Works well and your item won't stick too much unless you are really aggressive and don't turn it. It has held up so far and you can clean it pretty easily by just pulling or rubbing any wool left behind.

Must have for needle felting
This is so much better than using a foam pad. There’s no residue stuck to my needle felted items and the size is quite generous. This is well made and I believe it’ll last a long time, unlike my foam mat that had holes after a couple of weeks. I’m very glad I went with a larger mat to felt larger projects.

Have to use it correctly. Perfect and economical.
I am a beginning felter and I tend to learn by trial and error rather than viewing online tutorials as I should. I purchased the brush type felting pad, a foam one and the Wool Buddy. I hated the brush type immediately, it seemed wobbly and insecure. The foam type was OK but I didn't like the feel or sound of the needle going in and I knew it couldn't last long. Then I tried the Wool Buddy, XL size. I loved the size, the thickness and the feel of it. It felt secure, it felt steady and no matter how much I punched there were no holes or wear that I could see. My only problem was MY OWN FAULT!. I was making a felted leaf, first time I tried it. Of course, a leaf is a flat piece. I needled away and loved the result. Went to pull up the leaf and it was FIRMLY attached to the Wool Buddy. I ruined one side of the WB pulling and scraping the leaf out of it. I didn't want to give up on the WB because I loved everything else about it. So... I did what I should have, watched a few tutorials and got some good tips and realized I was a felting idiot but one with hope. I started again on the remaining good side of the WB. I cut some squares of tulle netting a little larger than the size of the leaf I wanted to make. I put one piece of tulle on the WB, laid out my wool fibers and put another piece of tulle on top, a felting sandwich of sorts. I started needling but every minute or so, I pulled the leaf all the way off the WB and flipped it over. If the tulle got too many holes, I replaced it. The tulle and the frequent flipping worked like a charm. The leaf pulled away perfectly from both the tulle and the WB leaf. Use the WB right and you will love it! All I have to do now is avoid the ugly side I ruined!

Excellent, no fiber transfer
Came exactly as described. Good size and thickness. None of the colored fibers from the mat have adhered to my projects so far, even when working with white wool. Projects stick to this mat significantly less than to a foam or brush mat. To clean of stray fibers, just rub your hand in circles over the surface. This mat instantly became my primary felting surface.

Casi casi era genial
Se le quedan pegados los pelitos a las piezas que uno va trabajando y sin son blancas pues se quedan prendidas fibras del color de cojín
