Start with the fundamentals
Right off the bat from opening up this book, I like the layout of the book and how easy it was to follow along and read. Even though I have an Amazon Associates account myself and promote products and programs, I learned a few things from the author. I always tell my clients that you have to learn how to build a list, find a niche and build a website. All of that is common sense, but sometimes common sense is not that common. It's a good reminder that the author suggests that in the beginning chapters. Without a website and a capture page, and without a a profitable niche, you won't earn an extra income. You have to find what other people are looking for and then put it in front of them.I love the screenshots and the colors too! This book is a must read for anyone just starting out or an advanced user just like me.

My impressions of Amazon Associates Com;ete Guide
This book helped to give an overall basic intro to the Amazon Associates program but I would not call it a complete guide. A useful help for those who want to know what the program is and how to become apart of it. May fill in some gaps for those already involved. It brings some of the Amazon Associates program information in one place as the info on Amazon's site is not so cohesive and easy to navigate.

Amazon Associates Complete Guide - The key word here is "Complete" :)
Well, I did read a previous guide on this topic, but I wanted one of those "For Dummies" or "Complete Idiot's Guide" styled books that is more packed with information -I love those "Dummies" guides!! They are the best, but I always thought they were better in "leaf" form rather than digital (if you want to highlight or circle anything) This book by Mr Johnson went more in-depth and that's probably what I really needed. He talks in a start-to-finish format which is good for people like us...time is spent proportionately on the "least you need to know" elements of being an affiliate marketer. A number of links as well are included; including tools for improved search function. I think everyone knows about the Keyword Planner tool, but I use Market Samurai and I can tell you it will shorten the time spent on your more tedious tasks like finding the best keywords. Also the author provides good information on how to not end up in hot water with your account (definitely a must read, because after all, you are running and maintaining a business, don't forget) and additional ways of building up your earnings. Definitely a good read if you are looking for a guide on the Amazon Affiliates program that does not read like a PLR type of guide (you can tell the resell guides -they have the kind of generic info that could be found anywhere)I guess if you want an in-depth, comprehensive guide (on anything, not just affiliate marketing), it's best to reach for the big, thick "Dummies" series, but I have been feeling more hopeful after reading this. Maybe if I make some real strides based on Dan Johnson's advice I will upgrade this product to five stars :)

This book taught me so many practical things I didn't know and provides effective methods that are extremely useful. I recommend
The advice is simple and actionable. The method is 100% legit and people are making a lot of money from it already. All you need is a website, an audience and some content. The book succeeds to provide a lot of valuable information to the people who want to start making money with internet. This book taught me so many practical things I didn't know and provides effective methods that are extremely useful. I recommend it without a doubt!

Don't waste your money
This book is poorly written, unedited, and an insult to his readers. Maybe there is some good information, but who could find it with the bad writing and punctuation? Further, the book is heavily weighted toward using Wordpress. I got the impression after the first few pages this author got an idea for how to make money off the internet--write a book--and immediately sat down to do just that. There is no authority to his words. He should have paid for a ghost writer.

Unfortunately, Poor Grammar
The information is mostly beneficial, but the material has not been proofread before being printed. Grammar is quite deficient, which made it a bit difficult to understand. I had to reread constantly. This slowed me down considerably.

Basic Information that Could be Found for Free
An okay book for anyone who is totally new to Amazon. There's really nothing new here, or that you can't find for free on the Internet. If you want to save time, buy this book. If you want to do your own research, I think you'll this information and a lot more from doing your own research.
