Until this was being fitted it was not realised how handy this unit is and saved so much work.Each switch is supplied with a 15amp fuse. For the purposes used, 4 15amp fuses were removed and replaced with various fuse sizes depending on the item being used.For example one 12v spot light was the load placed on one switch thus a 2amp fuse was put in place of the 15 amp...If 15amps was allowed to flow to the delicate wiring on the light...it could damage the light...if there was a fault. The idea of fuses are to blow - if needed- instead of the item blowing...just like at home re your 13amp fuses for washing machines or 5 amp fuses for small lamp lights.Anyway, each positive cable from each switch was attached to a 12v fuse unit, which provided even further fuse protections, and provided a 'place' for the negative cables to attach to as well.Other circuits run for the other switches were for additional USB and cigarette lighter sockets at other end of vehicle, and one for charging a powerful unit that required a 10amp fuse.The thing to bear in mind, is that one could overload all these switches, with all items being on at the same time ...especially if one of the devices needs a lot of amps...ie a fire could occur by a cable melting and burning.With the addition of the 12v fuse unit, other circuits were run that were not connected to the fuse unit at all, where they have their own 'on/off' switch. So all circuits go through the 12v fuse unit first, keeping all known circuits in one place, and if any fuse is to blow it will be in the 12v fuse unit first, and hopefully never be able to melt or catch a cable on fire on the switch unit.Perhaps a bit OTT for some but wasn't any extra work, in fact the switch unit saved so much fiddly, time consuming work.The above is not advice.

Fantastic value for money as the assembled switch set was cheaper than buying the individual components. The switches have a very positive latch. The pre wiring sometimes needs to be partially removed and replaced as they have been assembled on the basis that all work off a common supply whereas on my boat each circuit has an individual fused supply. I have purchased one off similar switches and these ones are to a particularly high standard. The only down side is if you push too hard when attaching a spade terminal the terminal on the switch can be pushed right into the body of the switch and for that reason I am only giving 4 stars

Looks great, easy to install and it comes already fused so just a case of connecting wires. Goes well in a camper

Arrived on time, just what I needed, excellent product

Easy install looks great on the boat,as well as having the USB charging points and the switches.

Not installed it yet however it looks to be good standard, comes with multiple stickers to label the switches, the finish seems nice all the switches are secure and well mounted, the existing cables are wired and insulated well etc.
