Acid Blue is green teal
This is a very nice jacket. Texture is smooth and not all wrinkled up. Workmanship is fine. Just a heads up that the "acid blue" color is actually a teal green. So if you want a teal colored jacket, order the acid blue. I thought it was going to be a turquoise color because that is how it looked on my screen. If you have ordered items from LL Bean in teal, that is the color of this one.

Poor quality, lightweight jacket
This doesn't feel like a quality jacket based on the look of the interior construction. I wore this jacket hiking around the red rocks and the grand canyon to protect myself from the sun. At 80F temps, the material traps heat and sweat inside and doesn't allow for evaporation (the metal holes by the pits don't work). Even if you keep it unzipped, your arms will still feel sweaty and hot. This could be particularly dangerous for hotter weather as it left me feeling like the choices I had were either to get sunburned or dehydrate faster because my body temp could not cool fast enough. Thankfully, it was lightweight so I could quickly wrap it around my waist without it weighing me down. Scrambling on the red rocks stained the jacket and I couldn't get it out with multiple washes. The color was as expected and looked good on my skin tone.

What I was hoping for
I was looking for a thin, packable, water-resistant windbreaker and this was just what I wanted. It is fairly thin but seems sturdy enough. I wanted it for summer wear, but it is also roomy enough to layer over warmer clothes. Zippered outer pockets and roomy interior pockets will make it useful. When I received the jacket the small drawstring pouch to pack it in was missing. I wrote a note to the seller and received an answer in 2 hours asking for my address so they could send it to me, and an hour later a message came that it had been shipped. Two days later it was on my front porch. Great customer service as well!

love
I needed a raincoat to pack for a trip and this fit the bill. Light wait, kept the rain and wind off and packed nicely.

Light weight & plenty room to layer under
I bought this for my hike up Mt. Fuji to help with the uncertain weather conditions during my trek up the mountain, however, my trip won’t be for another month. In the mean time, I have used it for oridinary hikes around a subtropical island south of Japan, and it’s very breathable. Though hot, the loose fit was helpful and made it easier to layer under due to uncertain weather conditions on this island. Great fit, VERY LIGHT WEIGHT (which is a plus), and easy to pack for any trip planned or last minute.EDIT: It’s been almost one month after my climb to the top of Mt. Fuji, and this windbreaker it was still very light and easy to layer under as I got closer to the summit. It protected me for the most part as the winds got stronger, however, with multiple layers and unforeseen weather conditions, it did not completely protect me from the heavy winds combined with fog/clouds as I reached the summit. I was freezing and I was not completely protected from the wind at that point until I began making my way back down and away from the harsh weather at the top of the mountain. Overall, I would say this is still a good lightweight windproof jacket for anyone who plans on hiking in moderate weather conditions. This will not protect you in severe conditions, as mentioned above. It’s easy to pack, and doesn’t take up much room when you’re on the go. I still recommend it and plan on using it for moderate conditions when hiking.

Gets the job done, but has a few flaws
I brought this bad boy with me to Europe. I love how super-light-weight it is; I could crumple it up and stuff it in my daypack, or lay it flat in my suitcase without any notable weight added. It holds up great in the wind; we had 20 MPH wind in Ireland, and it kept me comfortable. With light drizzle, it will keep the water out for the most part. The hood is a bit shallow, as others have noted. I had to keep my head down when I had my hood on; otherwise, when I'd look up, I'd get an eyeful of rain! It's also ZERO PERCENT LINED. While it keeps the rain out, it does not keep out the cold. I had to wear a wool sweater underneath it to combat chilly rain on a 60 degree day. In torrential downpour, you're going to get a wee bit soggy with this jacket. If it warms up a bit, it doesn't respond too well to sweat, either; you'll definitely feel it wearing this jacket.Sizing: I went a size up, and I'm glad I did. It was comfortable, and slightly loose, but also left enough room for me to bundle up underneath. While it's not perfect, I'm satisfied with its function; it fit my needs for the trip. In the future, i'll probably invest a little bit more to get something that's a nicer quality and comes lined.
