Although more expensive than other brands,I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes an heirloom.A bonus feature is the color: most gloves are easy to misplace, the apricot color makes them most visible.I discovered West County Gloves while surfing the Web. Big surprise was realizing the creator of the original company was BEVERY SCHOR, my niece! We haven't seen her in over 30 years; what a delightful way to make a fresh contact!

I have purchased many gardening gloves over the years but these are the best. They fit well, first of all, as they are made for a woman's hand. They are large enough but not not so large that they fall off. The velcro tab allows adjustment so you can fit them to your hand. I have used these for two seasons and they are still intact and protect my hands. I have used them for planting trees, pounding steel stakes, weeding, pruning, etc. I am going to buy another pair to have a spare but my current gloves are just fine.
