Q: Can you add boiling water in the bag for food dehydration?

I assume to re-hydrate dehydrated food. I haven't tried this, added food to pan of boiling water from a pouch instead, but did a quick online search. Some Mylar bags are suitable, some are not (thickness, materials, etc.) - you'd need to ask the manufacturer or specifically look for "cook in bag" products.

Q: Are these bags resealable if you heat seal them?

You may be able to heat seal them again but if you heat seal below the zipper and cut off the zipper you will not be able to use the zipper.

Q: Where are these bags made?

Mylar with silver aluminum metallic color printed on the mylar itself no metal is used as far as I have read doing my research.

Q: Is this strictly for dry goods or can you freeze meats in these?

I’m sorry Julie. I only use these bags for dry goods. I use my foodsaver for long time storage of meat.
