WonVon 12V Ceramic Glow Plug Air Diesel Parking Heater Part With Removal Fitting Tool For Eberspacher D2 D4 D4S and other aerial parking heaters

Wasn't sure why my brand new vevor all-in-one diesel air heater failed after its maiden run. I tested it at my camp during the afternoon knowing it would be near freezing later that evening. Ran fine - let it do its thing for 30 minutes at high to break in a bit and get rid of any manufacturing fumes.Then of course when I really needed it, a few hours after sunset, it failed with E-03 glow plug code. I wasn't sure what to blame it on since the thing was brand new hours earlier. Decided to start with this instead of looking at the MOSFET and stuff. Removed the old one and discovered a crack along the tip. Not sure how that got there, I didn't open the case of the heater until a few minutes ago when I installed the new plug.In any event it fired right up and I'm doing another super hot run for an extended period of time right now. I'll keep a couple of these on hand moving forward, this would have been an easy field repair and I would have had a much warmer night camping if I kept a spare. In my case I just need the tool (included with this plug), and an allen wrench of the correct size to remove a little panel inside the heater housing. This same allen wrench can be used to twist the special socket you get.

I thought this was going to be a process to install. I was done in less than 5 minutes. No longer have the E-03 error code that was caused by the old plug disconnecting from ground.

Nothing special about the glowplug. It is a typical Chinese plug. What impressed me is the quality of the special socket. I was expecting a cheap stamped socket that might last for one time. What I got was a nicely made tool. I would have paid the price just to get that socket.

I got an error code on my rv’s diesel heater (cheap Chinese unit). The dealership said that the tech couldn’t find a manual for the chinese heater control unit and couldn’t fix the problem. The manufacturer decided to just send out a whole new diesel heater, but that was going to take months. I watched a couple YouTube videos and figured out the issue. Ordered this glow plug, spent about 10 minutes swapping it out easily (the heater was in a difficult location). Voila, heater works again, maybe I should work for the rv dealership…
