This is not the quality product I was hoping for. The book itself feels cheaply made, the cover is thin and flimsy. The inside of the book is completely black and white which isn't great for some of the images and adds to the poor quailty feel. The editing is not great either, just one example on page nine reads "The math is already be done for you!"As far as actual content, I'm about a third of the way through and not impressed so far. It honestly feels like someone who learned basic rainwater harvesting from the internet compiled some of that information and put in some fillers to stretch it into a book . There are about a zillion references to "they'll be information on this in chapter ____". It's repetitive--I've been through three sections about water being heavy so far, and I'm not even halfway through the book. It has a pretty limited scope, the vast majority is for above ground storage tanks, so if you are looking for any other type of system, this book is not for you.The ONLY people I recommend this book to would be people who are *brand new* to the idea of water harvesting, and only if they do not have regular access to the web. And still only if they find it on sale. If you have internet, you'd be better off just doing a quick google.

I live in Texas and using rain water is a must for my garden. This book was easy to read and understand. I hope I don't have any issues this winter....zone 8b.

This book has all the details toward harvesting rainwater. I spent many, many months planning such a system for my homestead when I wished this book was available back then. It would have saved me tons of researching!Still, I found lots of additional helpful information. It was very easy to read and understand. This book is so informative. Everything was written easy to read and all details covered.The author did a great job in organizing the information and illustrating. Absolutely love this book. I recommend this to anyone planning to harvest rainwater!

This book is comprehensive with things you may not have considered but need to know before constructing your water harvesting system. With the knowledge found in the book, you will succeed.

Very helpful. Full of informative tips, tricks and instructions. Well laid out and great pics. Highly recommended for beginners and those that already harvest rain water.
