Excellent game/ CardStock no so much.
The game is a excellent game for a family activity. However the cards sturdiness are very much less than positive. Still a great buy.

Very easy to learn, fast paced, and fun for all ages!
It really is the easiest game to learn! My game partner was on a work call when I decided to try this game out. I read the short and sweet instructions, dealt 6 cards (1 of each color), shuffled the remaining cards, and whispered to him “just try to get all matching colors.” He proceeded to beat me 5 times in a row while on the phone. The game times vary but with 2 people it takes about 5 minutes or less per round. So, this is a simple card game. Strategy is limited because it does come down mostly to luck of the draw. On your turn, you have the choice to either draw a card or pick up the top discarded card. The strategy in our game came down to watching what was getting picked up by the other player. To end your turn, simply discard a card. There are 6 types of cards and the goal is to be the first to have a matching set of 6 of the same color. Each color has a corresponding athlete and points. To score, whoever wins the round gets the number of points that correspond with the winning set. Like Nertz, you can pick what total you are going to and play as many rounds to get there. Say you decide the first to get to 200 wins. The green set is worth 100 so you would have to win twice with that set or 4 times with the blue set worth 50, etc. But be careful! The more the set is worth, the fewer cards are available. The green 100 set only has 9 cards whereas the purple set has 13. So 2 people have the potential to get purple but only 1 could get green, despite how many people are playing.I really like this game. We have already decided to throw it into our travel bag because it is quick, easy, and doesn’t take up much room. This is not one that I would play regularly but for trips it will be perfect to switch up our usual at-home card games. I really like that kids can play Lineup and have a decent chance at winning, unlike many card games on the market requiring strategy. Super simple, quick, and easy to play while conversing.

Our new addition to game night
Line Up! Is a fun family card game that’s easy to play. The grandkids picked it up immediately. Collect 6 identical cards and win a round. Play as many rounds as you want. This was great for our game night.
