A really heart warming story
Reading this book was such a wonderful experience, I feel sad that it's come to an end! Lovely characters and a beautiful setting, three sisters working through the wreck of their former lives, to create new ones, full of love and hopefulness - superb!

Lovely gentle read
I needed a heartwarming & well written story to get me through tough times & escape into a warm, cosy place. Faith Hogan delivered. I enjoyed the story from three characters perspectives and knowing, from the write, there'd be a happy ending. I enjoyed "the how" or the journey of getting there. Good, credible & fallible characters unfolding and growing through the story. Great situational descriptions that create scenes: villages, buildings, landscapes for the reader to breathe and smell, hear, see and touchDefinitely looking forward to reading more from Faith. I'd recommend this book to anyone needing a gentle, well told story to restore them during tumultuous reality or needing to pause from life's stressors.

The ultimate and longest relationship is between siblings.
This was a wonderful read, I didn't want it to end. The store mind's us that sibling relationships are the most complicated we ever have.

Family
A wonderful story showing how we can picture others lives knowing very little of the reality. Also full of hope when given the chance you can truly rewrite your story. One must be able to truly take an honest look at themselves and forgive and be forgiven.

Great family saga
When Georgie, Iris, and Nola were just children, their mother died. In an attempt to console their youngest sister, Georgie and Iris promise Nola that they will always be there for each other, no matter what. As the sisters grew older they naturally became more independent of each other. However, as is normal in all families, there were some major disagreements and words said that should have never been uttered. Add in a series of misunderstandings and the sisters no longer speak to each other and seldom, if ever, visit or call their father.Fast forward a couple of decades and the three estranged sisters' late father's will stipulates that the trio has six months to make an attempt to repair their tattered and shattered relationship before they can claim their inheritance. He tried even after his death to heal his fractured family.Reunited back in the family home in a small Irish town, tempers flare, misunderstandings continue, and at times if seems as if their resentments escalate. Can Georgie, Iris, and Nola put aside their differences? Will they ever actually talk through their initial disagreements and learn to move forward? Are they able to put family before pride and resentment?Faith Hogan tells an engaging tale and makes the characters quite realistic. I've read a few reviews that bring out the continued arguing and miscommunicating between the sisters but I found that to be realistic since some people cannot listen to another's thoughts/opinions without taking offense in real life, let alone a novel. Despite what some of the naysayers feel, I think this is definitely worth reading and it would make a great book club read.
