I’ve only used it twice so we’ll have to see how it holds up. I like it so far in comparison to the other 2 I’ve tried. I’ve used the cool on the go clip on fan. That one is heavier and the last one I bought, didn’t last very long and cost more than twice as much, so I’m not buying those again.I’ve also used the O2Cool deluxe necklace fan. I do like that one if you need something more low profile and it is pretty quiet.As for this fan, I clean houses so this is a must for me but I haven’t used it longer than 4 hrs at a time. It’s a little bulky but it’s light weight and the air output is really good. I haven’t even used it on the highest setting yet. But it’s not a quiet fan which makes sense since of the air output it gives. So just depends on what you’re looking for I guess. This fan is my favorite one I’ve gotten and it’s a good price.

I have the 02 cool and like it, but wanted a rechargeable battery. This fan is larger all around (thickness, height and width). The air is good but it does create white noise, which gets louder with higher speed (has three speeds). I face paint outdoors in the heat and am excited about using this. I don't like the print on the landyard and wish it was adjustable, as I like to have the fan closer to my face. I could tie it in a knot around the neck to shorten it, but them couldn't easily take it off and put it on. The 02 cool has a better neck cord and is a better size while this seems to give more wind which is the most important part and has a rechargable battery - also important to me. I have a pretty big hand (for a chick) and posted photos to show size. Wish I had the 02 cool fan with me to show the size difference.Used the fan last night in my hotel room since I was sharing the room with my sister and she likes the room warmer than I do. I just layed it on the pillow next to me - worked great!Update: I LOVE this fan!!!! It helps me so much when I have gigs in the heat. On setting 1, the battery lasts almost exactly 4 hrs. Every person that needs to work outside in the heat should own at least one of these.

BUYER BEWARE: Worked great for a couple of infrequent uses several weeks in length, but this morning went to turn it on and it did not come on so I thought the battery needed recharging and was going to bring it home to recharge it. Several minutes later I and one of my colleagues at work smelled an electrical fire/burning type smell it and we electrical burning smell and I took the fan oy bag only to discover smoke emanating from the USB input charging inlet. Being that I work in a hospital and am around oxygen at times I was forced to immediately douse the entire unit under running water to completely extinguish any remaining flame, thus destroying the fan. It was a shame too because I did genuinely enjoy the fan prior to this event but anything like this happening to anyone is a huge red flag in my opinion to the manufacturer ( can't even imagine what a panic this could set off if it had happened on a plane flight). Anyway maybe I should not have expected that much from something mass produced in China. And just letting u all know! :-)

Ships in a timely manner. Performs reasonably well. I use it when at a casino and a smoker sits beside me and the smoke drifts my direction. I ask them if they could place their cigarette away from me. If they refuse or ignore me, I then place this unit in front of me and aim it at the offending smoker.It makes it much easier on my lungs.

I love that it has 3 speeds. I was afraid it would not hold a good charge. It will let you know it needs recharging when it will not go up to the third speed. Love it. I have owned several fans. This one is the best so far. That is coming from a woman who is overweight and going through menopause.Update. It will only hold 4 hours on low speed. But it is still worth the money. I think I will buy another one. It was worth 4 hours of cooling to make me want to buy another one.

I have to go outside sometimes in the summer heat, and work in hot places occasionally at my job, and I have to wear a thick uniform and carry about 30 pounds of tools. I attached this fan to a discarded phone back with a clip and put it on my equipment sling right under my neck. It doesn't make summer go away but it sure helps. I also have the O2Cool, a similar product. Compared to that, this one has sufficient power. The O2Cool is just too underpowered to make a difference, where this one creates a strong airflow. I was so impressed with how it helped me get through the day I bought a backup, and purchased some 18650 batteries and a charger so that I could use it through the entire shift if necessary.I highly, HIGHLY recommend this product. This really works.A few things I would say about it:The battery door seems a little flimsy, and I have doubts about it lasting in the long term. I bet I will have to repair it.Don't be surprised if you occasionally get wacked in the neck by an errant bug who got sucked into the fan.You will love returning to air conditioning after being outside when you have this thing running. Its like you have an ice pack held to your neck. I get a little brain-freeze from it actually.

Love it! It's the most powerful fan necklace I have had. 3 speeds. Only thing that needs improved is battery life. Doesn't stay charged long and i work 12 hour shifts. For me it was worth buying 2 so i have 1 to use while other is charging. I'm also saving a ton of money on batteries. With other brands that use AA batteries, I would go through 2 AA's a day. This HOT momma highly recommends thus fan.

Blows cool air into my face while I am working. Has several settings but the first setting is strong enough- holds a good charge! Don’t have to buy re-chargeable batteries! Fan is a little larger than other necklace fans that I have had but is also very durable. Fan lasted two years and I repurchased another. Is a little bulky but it gets the job done! I go no where without it! Mostly wear it at work. When I get on the elevator folks think it’s a heart monitor around my neck. tee-her
