Buy These Over Original
I recommend these over the original "black" package as the flavor and heat are exactly the same but for two distinct changes inside the package itself. Firstly these noodles are wider, flat style noodles with a bit more hearty texture to them. This makes them great for soupy, stew type ramen. The flavor of the noodles is unchanged. Secondly they come with a stand alone thickening agent to add to the stew which adds a bit of creaminess to the broth. The chili is exactly the same as in the original, however. Same packet, flavor and heat. So should you not want to have these as a soup/stew you can simply set the thickening agent aside and prepare the noodles as you would the original without broth. In the mood for very spicy, brothy ramen soup? These do the trick. In the mood for a hot ramen noodle dish as the original offers? These also do the trick. It's good to have choices. Oh and yes, these are hot and delicious noodles. I stay stocked up.

Very good Ramen!
These are the best packaged Ramen I’ve ever had. True to the description, this is some spicy stuff and has a fair amount of heat. If you can’t handle a pinch of chili flakes in a dish, you should probably give this a pass. I think it’s a little over garlicky / oniony flavored, but I can deal with it. The consistency of the noodles is surprising good. Overall, I’d recommend this. I only added some sautéed mushrooms for my first try, but next time I’ll add some shrimp and calamari. It‘ll be outstanding.

My favorite type of noodles
At first I thought this would be as spicy as the original fire noodles, which I found hot, but I find that it isn't as spicy since the brother to it isn't thick. I really like the flavor it has and how spicy it is. If you aren't used to the spiciness and sweetness like me it takes eating it a few time to get used to it. I found these noodle by watching SAS asmr on YouTube and have been dying to try them ever since. When I fix them I add more water than what the package says too because it helps tone down the spice for me. Then after I add the noodles to let them cook I crack 3 eggs and kind of whisk them in so they are throughout the entire thing. Once everything is cooked a add a little mozzarella to it and then eat it. I highly recommend trying the eggs, if you like eggs. If not you can always try using milk or heavy cream!

New favorite ramen!
Definitely way more tolerable spice wise compared to the original Buldak spicy noodles since this is broth based. Still packs a punch on the spice, like a slow build, and is very flavorful. Kind of like a red pepper spice with mild chicken flavor. The noodles are the typical thick and chewy Samyang variety, which is excellent for keeping up their texture in the broth. I find this more satisfying compared to most other ramen on the market and I feel full. Perfect for adding veggies or eggs, whatever you like in your ramen. My new favorite spicy ramen!

Pretty good
I’ve seen a lot of people eat these and had to give them a try. Unfortunately, they never got delivered to me so I got a refund, but I ended up having to get them somewhere else and try them. Overall they were good. They are really spicy, so I’d recommend putting in half the sauce. I then found I didn’t like them if I did half the sauce but still used all the seasoning packet. After trial and error, I found I really loved them with half of the sauce and half of the seasoning. They have a great amount of heat and the flavor was delicious. I’d highly recommend giving these a try and modifying them to your liking.

I honestly loved these
Personally, spice has never been an issue for me, so I thought they’d be much more spicier than they were (for me). It really all the depends on your spice tolerance and what you add to it. The flavoring overall is really good. If you’re used to eating spicy foods, this might not be all that spicy for you, but it is still really good. I don’t eat ramen as often as others may, but definitely better than Top Ramen, in my opinion.

Sad, Not What I expected
I’m here because of the incredible SAS ASMR. I was sooo sad when this tasted like sea food :( I was expecting it to taste like chicken flavored Ramen with a kick . There are tiny bits of seaweed in the seasoning pack and I think that’s what ruins the expected flavor and taste. Won’t be ordering this again :( and we threw out the remaining 3 packs :(

Not getting that garlic hit
I love Samyang noodles and have been branching out into their other varieties after finding out they were a series. We regularly eat the red buldak, and curry noodles but after seeing an Emmymadeinjapan vid with the stew type had to try them. She said they were super garlicky and not sweet but I can't taste garlick and it had a strange sweet undertone unlike the original buldak. It may have been the thickening packet but neither myself nor my husband liked these. The noodles themselves are excellently shaped, textured and the spice level was perfect. Not too hot, enjoyable. There was just a weird taste to them. *sigh* I really wanted to like these.
