Now purchased a second pair, as the first pair I just wore all day every day. I am diabetic and have been spending too much time driving a desk, so when I start standing or walking, the shins and calf's were killing me. These help support that whilst I am slowly getting back to fitness.THe XL is just a little loose at the ankles at the start of the day, but by tea time, there a snug fit.They are not overly tight and fit really well. I imagine also good if your doing a lot of flying to protect the lower legs from getting overstressed from sitting on flight. Got second pair so I can rotate them through the wash. Fairly lightweight, so not a problem for packing in your luggage.

Ordered L after carefully measuring my leg. That thing barely stays on my calf, floppy at the bottom. Quality seems good otherwise, but can't really try it properly.
