Cables are, arguably, the least glamorous part of any Stereo or Home Theater setup. After all, once they are hooked up, they are hidden from view, and basically forgotten and unappreciated except, perhaps, by the hard core audiophile. I decided, based on various articles with glowing reviews about the Emotiva XRCA cables, to give them a try.First, Emotivas mission statement is to make reference quality audio products affordable to those who want the best quality sound without taking out a second mortgage to do so.They seem to be succeeding at this, as many glowing reviews for various products they manufacture can attest.My music listening station is all computer based, and is as close to audiophile quality as I can get it.I use the JRiver Media Center at 24 bit output, streaming to an HRT Streamer II+ USB DAC. That goes to a NHT Passive volume control, which outputs to two M Audio CX5 Studio Monitors, both powered separately. I had "cheaped out" on the RCA cable runs, and based on some extremely positive reviews, I purchased The Emotiva cables.The quality is evident even without close examination, the cables have a solid feel, the jacket is thick and sturdy, and the ends are soldered.All I can offer is a subjective view, but to my ears, these cables brought an amazing dimension to the sound stage. The frequencies, especially in the low end were crisper and punchier. For the price, I don't see how you could go wrong.

First off, let's stop propagating the fallacy that cables are going to make an audible difference in your system. Look up the coat hanger test where a coat hanger was soldered to some RCA cable ends and was ranked as well as $1000 rca cables by audiophiles. How well would a $500 RCA cable fare if we told a panel of audiophiles that it was a $2 cable? The thing is, our hearing is not as great as we think it is. Our brains filter out a huge majority of the sound and can only process a reaction to what we're specifically listening for at that time. When you're listening for clear highs, you'll miss the lows, when you're listening for clear lows, you'll miss the detail in the highs. Our perception hugely impacts the sounds we hear. The fact is that any well made cable will provide quality beyond what our hearing can distinguish, and the fact is that the Emotiva cables are certainly well made cables.Now lets focus on what the Emotiva cables are: very high quality cables that look great and will last a lifetime. No more, no less. They're exactly what they need to be and nothing more. No lies, no exaggerations, no absurd promises, just a very high quality cable that is priced right where it should be for its quality and construction.

High quality cable with great finish. Used to connect Polk sub to my Pioneer Elite receiver, made a great difference between this and a cheap thin cable I've used initially. I see that Emotiva is really setting the bar high with their products. Buy and you won't look back.

It works just fine...However I wished id bought the 2 meter cable...This one is pretty short...My mistake

Ordered for a Lane Furniture Chair. All plugs match but does not work. I can swap original equipment from working chair and inoperable chair works so it is lift chairs R us controller that doesn’t work. Tried calling and going thru Amazon but zero contact from lift chair r us. DON’T BUY FROM LIFT CHAIR R US

These are very high quality cables and are worth every penny. I bought 3 for connecting to XPA-3 amp and have no complaints.

Work perfectly with noticeably better sound than monoprice cables and without all the pseudo scientific gimmicks of some of the super expensive brands
