These are wonderful lanterns. They are lightweight yet rugged, and cost less than it would have cost to buy replacement 16 D batteries for my old lanterns. They work great on the bedside, as well as hanging from the ceiling of my tent, and the hooks to hang them upside down make them even better. I have used them non-stop this entire trip without having to recharge them. I will be purchasing another set once I get home from this camping trip. Thank you for a great product!

I love everything about these AYL lanterns. I have many of them; 1 for every room & 1 for the car for emergencies, and I have bought them as gifts for family/friends. I may have to join a lantern addiction support group soon. I use them mostly for power outages during rain storms or when 1,000's of people are all using AC at the same time during summer heat waves and then the power goes outdoor several hours or 1-3 days.I love that these AYL Camping Lanterns are Rechargeable and that I don't have to worry about remembering to replace dead batteries. I love how powerful the light is and how there are many options for light strength: 1) Low, 2) Medium light, 2) Strong light, 3) Flashing light. My sister has maybe 10 different lanterns and they've all been anemic interns of the brightness of their lighting.I've had these lanterns for about 2.5-3 years and so far no problems. I love how it's water resistant- so I don't have to worry about the rain. I love how the outer shell is mostly rubber so it can take it, if it accidentally gets bumped. I've never dropped my lanterns, but I'm not worried about it if I do. I also enjoy the orange and black color, so that it is easy to see/find. It's also nice that you can charge your cell phone using the lantern's USB outlet in case of a power outage.The only thing I have a question mark about is, the box shows a solid orange USB charging cord, but all the lanterns I have bought, including in Jan 2024, all come with solid black USB charging cords. A solid Orange USB charging cord, might be great, to make it easy to find against darker surfaces or in the dark, but it's not a big deal, and not a deal breaker. Black USB charging cords would be easier to find if it's on light brown or cream colored carpet or light tan wood flooring. I also love how AYL occasionally offers sales/discounts that is helpful when money is tight. Overall, I am very happy with having gotten these lanterns for their quality, value, and features.

TLDR: They're great, but too many settings.Longer review: Love them! We have them for camping and power outages. They last a really long time. In fact, just today I realized that I forgot to turn them off from using them all day yesterday. They were pretty dim, but still on, and lighting my shed over 24 hours later. Well worth the money.Likes: Battery life. Superb. Bright. They are dimmable.Dislikes: WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO STROBE???????!!!!!! I get so sick and tired of flashlights and other lights that have 634 different settings to get back to the one you want, then they strobe on top of it. Please, if the company actually reads these reviews, stop it. You want 6,000 different settings, fine. But make a button that is ON/ OFF. That's it. "hey I need light, (click) *light turns on as expected* YAY!Not: "hey, I need light" (click) white, whiter white, warm, dim, dim, dim, bright, bright, bright, bright, warm, warm, warm, STROBE, off, white, whiter. JUST STOP!!!ON/ OFF. Please. Thank you.

I haven’t used them but the initial inspection of the items looked well constructed. The light is bright which will be useful on days we have no electricity.

Small package but very bright light. Can’t speak to battery life or durability yet as I just got them. One thing I’d suggest is a small space to store the charging cable for a future iteration. Or maybe a little solar panel on top of the light. Overall seem like really good quality and will come in handy for a power outage. Which seems to happen frequently in my neighborhood now

Our power goes out multiple times a year. As I am claustrophobic, sitting in a dark room causes me a lot of anxiety. I bought two of these lanterns and they really light up the room. I love that they are rechargeable so there are no batteries to deal with. The fact the lanterns will shine brightly for hours is just what I need!

Work great very bright. Good for camping and other activities. If light go out. Very helpful
