I am a mac user and I got this for my MacBook. I know it might be not the best solution.However, I am using this not continuously and so far it is working fine. In weight, it is almost half the weight of my original mac book charger and in size also a bit small. But as a spare charger in case of emergency, it is a good one for the price and serves the purpose. I am happy to have it as a spare charger for my MacBook.I am also happy with the price and I recommend it as a spare charger for use in emergencies for a bit. I am not sure about the battery health for my mac if I use it continuously or more often.I am updating my review now This is an extremely slow charging charger. my original cable got broken now I am using this as my main charging cable with my original mac charger and it is extremely slow. Really not happy it is okay for haveing in spare but not worth it otherwise.

Robust but bulky and does not give out much power. Tested in very low power consumption devices and it still took ages to power them. Changed the cable supplied to another to see if that was the problem, charging performance improved some what but was still very slow.

This seems a good charger for your laptop but, to me, it does seem a bit bulky. It is rather fat and would bulge quite a bit if you wanted to slip it into your laptop case.In think will be a great charger to keep ready for use in your office or bedroom or wherever. It has some good features - the surge protection, the overheating protection and I really like the idea that the USBc plug can go in either way round. So kept in one place is perfect, but a bit less convenient if you’re looking for portability.

It's very useful to have a spare Mac charger and I can't detect any difference in performance between this and the original, whereas the price is significantly lower.

I decided not to plug anything into this, as fresh out of the box, something inside the casing was rattling loose. I decided to pass on that.

I ordered this charger for my Mac Air.Arrived in small basic packaging.Plug looks vet smart and smaller than original plug.Does provide power to laptop when using and does charge up laptop.Unfortunately it is very slow at charging up laptop, even after a couple of hours will only reach 40% charge.Good value at a fraction of cost of branded charger, leads are robust with positive connectors.Overall, good value charger but not for the impatient.I would recommend this product.

Unimpressed by this. It's a clone of an Apple charger but lighter; wonder how they managed that. The USB-C connector is loose and cuts out if moved, unlike the genuine Apple version. Every device I've charged with this has malfunctioned. There is also no magsafe connector on the end that goes in the Mac. Worth getting genuine Apple parts.
