Buffalo Bills 8oz Mesquite Country Cut Beef Jerky Pack (moist & tender mesquite smoked beef jerky)

i love this product, even though the price has skyrocketed i still treat myself. but im thinking others may have stopped. my last order was for three bags. ordered late aug., went to take the second bag out to eat and it was covered in mold. geez the bag was here for a couple weeks and went bad. at almost 22$ a bag that is unacceptable. if this bad bag gets replaced i will buy again, if not then i guess i dont buy this anymore, the cost risk ratio would be too great.

This review applies to this and to all of the 8oz Buffalo Bills Jerky packs - they have the best on the market.I have tried nearly every beef jerkey avaialble on line, and other than fresh from the market (Bucky's in Texas for example), Buffalo Bills makes the best Jerky you can buy online. There are a few 1 pound options that are very different (I have written reviews on those elsewhere) but for anyone who has been looking for good jerky with quality meat (this means chewy but not dog treat chewy) these are the best you can buy.As for the "Double Habanero" I will say these are the hottest of the Buffalo Bills options. There is a hotter version that you can buy if all you want is pure heat, there is a Slim Jim Dare which you can pick up at the corner gas station and it is indeed hotter, but the quality does not come close to this. Slim Jim simply adds Habanero powder to below average jerkey and gives you below average jerkey with very hot powder, this is very good jerkey that is nice and hot (but not crazy hot). You can easily eat this without a large drink, no burn for 10 minutes after, it just has a really nice heat applied to very good jerkey. Just to add the Country Cut jerkey is also far and away the best for my taste (your taste may vary) but it is thick enough to give you a little depth when you bite it. The difference is a little like choosing between regular bacon and thick cut bacon. If you want crunchy chewy, choose something else, if you want flavor and texture - with a decent heat in the one, choose this one.

Just that really. It’s tender and the flavor is good but it’s not hot.

previous experiences with this brand have been great spicy jerky shipped fast. to my surprise when i opened my amazon package i found that the bag of jerky was already open and had a strange coloring to it. i removed the bag of jerky from the package and realized someone else has already opened this bag, and did not even zip it shut. when my jerky arrived it was completely covered in mold and not a single bite was edible. it also appeared that about half of the product was missing from this bag! this bag unfortunately went straight into the trash. as i am unable to ask amazon for a return or refund on this product i will be asking my card company to seek a chargeback.update: i have received a replacement bag in perfect unopened condition. i really appreciate the prompt customer service. this is the product quality i've experienced in my previous orders. thank you!

These were delicious, however not as tender as I thought it would be from reading the description and reviews. Despite not being tender enough for me (a personal preference), these were still more tender than anything I could've bought from local stores. The cravable Teriyaki flavor was addicting, just hoped the texture would've been softer. It's not the cheapest jerky for the amount you get, but the quality and flavor is worth it. If you want good value AND Buffalo Bill's yummy jerky, I suggest their 2.1 lb. Short Shots (120 beef sticks per bag - Available in 3 Flavors- currently going for 26 bucks). Although this specific product wasn't a perfect home run for me, the sample of their Ole" Smokies Teriyaki Beef Stick they sent me was tender, moist, sweet, savory & just the best beef jerky I've ever had (& I've had plenty growing up, as Dad -RIP- was a beef jerky fan. I wish he was alive to enjoy this brand with me.). Shipping was quick & efficient, this company knows how to please. This was my 1st Buffalo Bills purchase, and it won't be my last.

Awesome flavor however the second I opened it the “resealable bag” broke. I was even extra careful with it because I had the same problem with a different product recently.

So so moist and tender. I really really love this jerky. The only downside is it does have HFCS & MSG but despite that I could not stop myself from ordering a second one.Edit: I wanted to just say its the flavor for this one that saved it for me. I rated the teriyaki flavor by the same company only 3 stars. My original rating was 5 stars but I have reduced it to 4 stars. I simply can't keep ordering it with HFCS & MSG in it. I care about my health too much. Which is truly a shame because they have the BBQ taste just right, unique and deliciously sweet.2nd Edit: Still ordering this over a year later. The flavor is just too good and the jerky too moist. Its my guilty pleasure, the only non health food I sometimes enjoy as a treat.

Ok, I wanna start off by saying...I gave this product a 3 star before because I was really more of a high spice kinda person. But after reconsideration, this product have been on my top jerky for purchase. I buy these 5 bags at a time, mainly because the flavor is consistent and so far the most tenderest jerky Ive ever had, and Ive had Katies and Jerkyhut and many other brands, by far this is the most consistent. Everyone I asked to try, 100% satisfied. I deleted my previous rating and gice this a 5 star. Its honestly the perfect jerky. Also, this has been my replacement meal. Few pieces and a bowl of rice. Anytime I get hungry, I snack on the jerky and has kept my metabolism also consistent. Its like a food cheat. I was at 165, now 157! Boom! In 3 months btw. And no.....I dont workout lol. (Not saying you shouldn’t) ill work on that soon.
