Heavy and sincere!!!
Well, "The Suffering Of Man" by Subzero is a hardcore/metal crossover that is as heavy as anything and is sincere as a mirror. If you are a fan of heavy music, you will like this. \m/

happiness without peace makes a man suffer
happiness without peace was a great debut album that served as a sincere tribute to the great late 80's NYHC bands like Leeway, Cro-Mags and Warzone . With Suffering of Man , Subzero changed with the times and abandoned most of their punk influences for a more metallic, death-core style of hardcore ( see the band Merauder for example ). I feel like Subzero came into their own on this album and made their own unique identity . at times sounding heavy like Helmet and modern day Agnostic Front, this album is heavier and has a stronger production than their earlier works. the drums are punchier and the guitars are more bluesy but hard as nails. the singer has abandoned his Cro-Mags vocal stylings for almost death metal rasps and roars . the artwork on the cover is awesome as are the lyrics . the singer survived a battle with cancer , so not only are the lyrics emotional but they resonate with deeply felt authenticity. if you Helmet , Entombed or recent Agnostic Front you will enjoy the sheer ferocity of this unique album.
